Les Caves Saint Lazare

I have eaten here on several occasions and have never failed to be impressed by the excellent pizzas and the warm welcome from the staff. This is a proper Italian pizza restaurant with atmosphere equally suited to a romantic dinner for two or a family event.

Les pizzas sont bonnes mais sans plus. Il n'y a rien d'exceptionnel dans cette pizzeria. Le personnel est sympathique et le service est très rapide (pizza à emporter).Je n'y retournerais pas car j'ai connu bien meilleur malgré qu'elle soit tout de même très correcte

Excellente pizza au feu de bois en plein Paris ( c'est rare) mais l'espace restaurant 1er étage est assez exiguë et bruyant. Le personnel est sympa mais en plein coup de feu, constamment débordé. Heureusement que le rapport qualité / prix rattrape un peu ces inconvénients

This was our first time eating at ll Gallo Rosso, and we were not disappointed! Wonderful menu with great service, and the waiter was so friendly and helpful. The food was of a high standard and a perfect setting for a romantic dinner. Highly recommended if you want to escape the hustle of the main tourist areas and find a homely restaurant tucked away off the beaten track!

This is the first good pizza that I have had in France. Good crust, lots of red sauce and mozzarella cheese. If you are familiar with John's Pizzeria in New York City or Pepe's in New Haven, this pizza was as good if not better. We also had the mixte salad which had a fabulous light dressing, eggs, artichoke hearts and hearts of palm.. The waiter, who was Argentinian, was fantastic and provided excellent service. Can't wait to return.

We actually were looking to go to a different restaurant that supposedly was “fully booked”. Anyway, we walked in here and were welcomed straight away and taken to a lovely table upstairs. We did not know what to expect but we’re really pleased with the service, the food, and the atmosphere. After being out in the cold and rain, both my lasagne and husband’s Penne Arrabiatta were amazing good and heart warming. We thoroughly recommend going here for a lovely Italian meal.

This restaurant is always worth a visit and manages to maintain the highest standard of excellent wood fired pizza. The service is quick but unhurried and staff really make you feel at home. I would say that anyone who would like to try among the best pizza in Paris should make a point of visiting. It’s a little off the beaten track but well worth the effort as the many regulars would attest. (I’m a little obsessed with pizza but my wife assures me that their other Italian dishes are equally excellent)

Found this restaurant on google maps and trip advisor and having read the good reviews opted to eat our last meal of the holiday here. The place is quaint and cosy we a friendly waiter who was very attentive. The olives and bread whilst we waited were a nice touch. We ordered a pizza and a pasta dish both were very tasty. The pizza was made fresh and cooked in their pizza oven very authentic! The only slight criticism was the quality of the music in the background as it was really crackly and once I noticed this it was quite annoying (we didn’t mention it else I’m sure it would have been resolved). Overall a very enjoyable meal that was reasonably priced and good value.

Das Restaurant hat einen ganz besonderen Charme, da es etwas kleiner ist. Wir sind an 3 von 4 Abenden dort zum Essen gegangen, nicht nur, weil es in unmittelbarer Nähe von unserem Hotel war, sondern es einfach keinen Grund zum Wechseln gab. Der etwas gehobenere Preis geht wieder in Ordnung, da man Oliven und (meist) Brot kostenlos serviert bekommt. Die Pizzen sind reichlich belegt und werden auf dem Steinofen mit Holz gebacken. Zu Salaten können wir nichts sagen. Pasta war auch sehr gut. Die männliche Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und bemüht, die Fragen auf Englisch zu beantworten. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die gutes italienisches Essen lieben, auch wenn man einen weiteren Weg dorthin hat.
