"Perfectly small and atmospheric and off the beaten tourist track. It was only the waitresses 2nd night but very attentive and made us feel really welcome. Large group took up most of the restaurant (turned out later to be the organisers of the Euro 2016 on their 8th night visit in row!) but we still felt we had privacy in our bar stools, window seat.We struggled to fully translate the handwritten black board with todays freshly prepared menu so trusted the recommendation of the waitress/Chef and what was popular with the large group. It did not disappoint! The selection of small tapas style french dishes were phenomenal! delivered like true tapas.Lovely freshly made bread accompanied the freshest mixed tomato salad. Perfect starter to follow a long day trawling around a summery Paris.Chorizo razor clams was a welcome surprise. The best Foie gras my partner has ever had.....she still won't stop talking about it.and to finish, a truffle burger that words could never do justice!!All accompanied with a bottle of white wine also recommend by the waitress and wash down with a glass of local red.We have both eaten in Michelin star restaurants and we both struggled to find a difference...other that a distinct lack of snobbery. We couldn't help but go and thank the chef/owner who we could see in his perfectly small kitchen behind the bar, from where we were sat. We all shared a locally distilled digestif. It will most definitely be our top priority on our next trip back to Paris."

Stumbled across this place having arrived late on the Eurostar. Tured out to be agreat option. Very friendly staff, the chef came and translated the menu, good food, fast service and some nice beer and wine to top it off.

The brunch was just not worth the price. Nothing except the poached egg was fresh. Even the bred was old and warmed up, such a shame in a country like france. The service was nothing special, they forgot about us two times and the facility is old and even a bit shabby (especially the chairs). Wouldn't come back. Ver carta

After reading the fantastic reviews of Les Perches du chai we went there for dinner. The reviews were absolutely correct. The staff were friendly and generous with there time, our waiter talked through the menu in great detail (Hugo our French dictionary didn't seem to aid the translation). The food was prompt and beautifully presented ( mine looked like an offering for Master chef)It was fantastic value for money. The chef/owner came out in person to ask if the food was ok and settle the bill. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Yum!

As many other people describe, we stumbled upon this place while visiting Sacre Coeur. Traveling with a 70+ grandfather, his two daughters, and his 5-year-old grandson, we had limited time and energy to look around. I'm thrilled we stumbled upon this deliciousness. The staff were kind and incredibly accommodating, and the food was surprisingly delightful course after course. Delicious mini-sliders that impressed both adults and children!to know:-the gazpacho will ruin you for other gazpacho so if you every want to eat gazpacho again somewhere else then don't order it

This cosy reataurant is one of the best in Paris and with it's incredibly lovely staff and friendly atmosphere you really should stop by. Four people for desert and dinner its also one of the cheapest near the Sacre Cœor with good prices on drinks also. The chef is a wonderfully inviting person and even helped me with some of my pronunciations of French words when I asked her. She was waiting tables and cooking the food when we first arrived, she had a full restaurant and the food still came out very very quickly. When it arrived we were very pleased with the delicious flavours and fanciful presentation. It was a joy to stop by and you should too.Tres Magnifique!!!! Ver carta

So, tired and famished after climbing up to and touring Sacre Coeur, my daughters, grandson and I didn't want to descend to dine. We glanced around and saw the awning for Les Perches. We decided to give it a shot, not expecting much. Sacre Boeuf! A mini burger worthy of a Picasso, avocado salad unlike any this Californian had savored before, same with the corn on the cob, but the highlight was the gazpacho, made from green tomatoes. Everyone tasted everyone else's food and we were all equally amazed by the talent and presentation, let alone the taste, of this Canadian transplant's restaurant. Well, he IS French-Canadian, so perhaps it was to be expected! Should be a destination in and of its...

Found this hidden gem by accident. The place is small, nice and cozy. The food is out of this world and i am not exaggerating. We ordered almost the entire menu. The dishes kept coming and we couldn't believe how good it was. Ordered pimentos del padron ( sweet peppers) , saubrosade ( chorizo on bread) , accra de morue ( fish cakes), foie gras poele , salade tomates, burrata des pouilles ( cheese that melts in your mouth) , onglet sauce chimichuri ( beef cuts) and a bottle of red wine... There were no favourites, all amazing, although the burrata is to die for. They have no set menu, it's chalk on a board, so it's whatever is bought fresh that day :) It is not your typical tapas place but th...
