"À mon sens le meilleur restaurant de la vallée Les sauces sont extraordinaires. Les plats excellents et copieux. Le chef est un spécialiste du poisson mais ses viandes sont également divines. Le rapport qualité prix est imbattable. Au déjeuner le chef propose une formule à 15 euros comprenant entrée et plat. Nous avons déjeuné et dîner au soleil d or pendant une semaine. Nous avons goûté à toute la carte. Tout les mets nous ont enchantés. Sa soupe est goutue. La sole est remarquable. La choucroute est délicieuse et extrêmement copieuse pour 17 euros. Essayez la canette au miel. Vous aurez un aperçu de ce qu est le vrai salé sucré tout en nuances. Personnellement j ai bien mieux mangé dans ce restaurant exceptionnel que dans l étoilé de Nancy. Et pourtant c est la modestie qui caractérise le mieux le chef Certains devraient en prendre de la graine Bref je ne peux que chaudement vous recommander cette cuisine délicieuse. "Ate a late lunch here after a long time skiing on the pistes of la bresse (parking on the route des Crete avoids the hassle down in the main ski station). Skied down via 'la bouvreau' to the station just to get my day pass then stayed clear of the crowds there by staying high. As usual skiing 12-14:00 is quiet, but some places don't serve food after 14:00. The patron at this auberge was most welcoming and I had the fixed mountain menu. It was huge! A large bowl of pea soups, a massive tartiflette , salad and bread, followed by a copious fromage blanc with bilberry sauce ( all made at the farm) brilliant meal. Helpful chatty staff despite it being busy. Will be back and remember not to have breakfast before."
