center of the village in a beautiful location. for coffee, no menus so unclear what we have ordered otherwise. the personal was friendly. coffee was okay. the facilities were clean. only cash

One of us had the special of the day a lamb shank. Very strong mutton taste. Ordinary accompaniments. I had a burger which I asked for no bun and of course they brought a bun. Disappointing meal.

excellent service, the personal was so good. we arrived early, had a different guest and everything was sorted very quickly. our eating was excellent, timings were excellent and all enjoyed the experience. Ver carta

As a lovely day sat at a table on the terrace. When they brought the menus they also brought a bowl of water for our dog. Good choice on the menu plus specials. There was a nice buzz about the place, other customers were friendly...enjoying there meals. The couple on the next table recommended the lamb cutlets. My wife chose the Turbot and I went for the lamb cutlets. We both very much enjoyed our main dishes, good size portions. We chose a local wine to accompany the meal which was very pleasant. To finish we had a dessert from the menu which was pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful.. .

We were attracted to this cafe by it's numerous recommendations La Petite Futé and it's Marmite d'Or, so expectations were high. We were super hungry after cycling 80km under the blazing Provencal sun and ordered a salade and pasta with roquefort. Surprisingly the pasta...was tasteless (hard to achieve with blue cheese) and the salade OK, but no where near as good as other local salads we've eaten. When the waiter asked about the food we told him there was no taste to the pasta, he promised to speak to the chef but we never heard from him again. Would recommend trying a different place next time one that isn't resting on it's laurels.

had a drink here about 40 years ago. the team has changed since! the restaurant is located in the middle of the village, lots of parking to this time of the year and the restaurant was packed! had a delicious meal of banon...cheese in fakey baked with beautiful fresh salat and a part of chips, my man decided for the banon salat with banon cheese on toasts, cured duck breast and a dish chip. everything was fresh and squirting hot! they're supposed to die, 'cause it must admit that I had discovered them on someone's teller when we came in. the staff are helpful to smile and go out of their way to help. will come back! merci beaucoup à tous! On a beautiful sunny day we enjoyed a memorable lunch outside at the town square at Restaurant les Voyageurs. I had pieds et paquets d’agneau, a local lamb-based specialty which included lamb feet “pieds) and a ground-up lamb patty “paquets” – bundles of ground lamb...tripe, salt pork, garlic, parsley) in a delicious sauce. Finally had a tripe dish I enjoyed – probably because the tripe was pretty well disguised by so many other flavors. Also, maybe there’s a difference in lamb tripe vs the beef I had before. A marvelous lunch with our host's little dog under the table enjoying the lamb bones I was happy to share. Very attentive and sprightly waitress was a plus.

In the heart of the small town of Banon, you will find this restaurant, which has a good location with a parking lot on the square. The terrace is a good option if you do not want to sit inside. We had the three-course meal...with snails or the coldcut platter, which was a lot of local specialities. As main, you should try the lamb (cutlets, steak or tripe) or beef. They are served with delicious french fries and a salad. There is a good choice of wined by the glass if you do not want a bottle. The desserts are very interesting like the café gourmand, which consists of several delicious desserts and cakes, the creme brulée or, of course, the Banon cheese. Attentive staff. For this years Father's day we decided to go for lunch in the small but beautiful village of Banon. We have been there many times since wandering around the hills of the Haute Provence is a rare delight. So used to be lunch in the...local restaurant The Voyageur.. I had reserved a table outside so all started out well there was sun, a bit of wind and a cycle tour that was going to pass for our entertainment. So we ordered a beer and a glass of white wine and studied the menu. The beer appeared after about a minute and the wine never appeared. We asked twice, the waiter nodded and disappeared. My wife had the warm goat cheese salad and I took the lamb, with a glass of red wine. We waited over... Ver carta
