"Our hotel was about a mile away and they recommended Le Semaphore as a great place to dine. The location was amazing with views out over the sea and an aerial display by the sand martins. The food was amazing, we had oysters followed by fresh fish and deserts. All were so good we would not have changed a thing. The service was efficient and friendly whilst the owner spoke perfect English and was totally charming. I add that we are cycling around Normandy and the owner insisted on picking us up and dropping us back to our hotel as the weather was inclement, even though the restaurant was busy. I would make a point of going back to the area just to visit this restaurant again."

"I'm rather disappointed with this restaurant, to say I expected better in view of the opinions. Let's start with the positive points: waitresses are very nice, nothing to say about it. Tatin pie is excellent, fries are good and homemade. The atmosphere is rather romantic, it is quiet when there is no music in background to high volume. (see negative point. Appetizing visual dishes. Cocktail the sea cap very good! sauce that accompanies ring waves is excellent. I really liked the fact that the tatin pie was warm-hot when I was served! for negative points: beers that are offered on the map are clearly not good beers for amateurs. beers. It's very bad, but they're low-quality beers. Calamar doughs were too cooked. Which makes the calamar was rubbery. It was really unpleasant to eat, I forced myself. The dishes are actually very pretty and it makes you hungry. But when you hit it, you're sometimes very disappointed. The fake-filet was very nervous, there were too many fries in the plate and we didn't understand why this dish was served with a small salad and then an asparagus, a carrot, two chips that fight in duel in the small bowl of sauce (which was very good at the time), a small yellow tomato cooked. Why mix so many flavors? I think it's a little too much and it's really useless. I didn't see what it was doing in the dish, except maybe the little salad and again. in the gourmet coffee, I sincerely think that the little chocolate marrow is frozen and I find it a shame if it is. If that's not the case, maybe you could see the recipe again? The music with the full-bodied cornemuse was very unpleasant. the atmosphere was very well without music or possibly with the background music that you put after low volume. I have no animosity to this restaurant, I really wear my own opinion, I obviously appreciate this restaurant! But I don't think I'm going back. It's expensive for what it is"
