"if they want a bit of frankly in Scotland, there is no better tempo than edinburghs west end. l’escargot blanc is a beautiful wee restaurant serving authentic French dishes in a very French environment. all the waiters and waiters speak French and I enjoy practicing with them a little bit of my pristine French. I have eaten twice here and both times it was exceptional, fuss-free and very good value. the first time I decided for the fish Manic course, which was beautiful the sose in which they served, and the brot was also very good. my friend went for the omelette I think it was a very good omelette. we ordered the sorbet for dessert, who was very good. the second time I ordered the plate du jour, which was meatball venison) in a wonderful tomato sauce. the half of our group ordered it, it was freshly cooked and served as their mother to house in a large copper pan. for dessert, most went for dessert of the day, the baked apple served with berries sauce, mandel and cream fraiche very unusual and not my usual choice of dessert but very good! when they book their pre-theater menu, they can get two courses worth less than £15 incredible, I think. worth a visit."

Nice French restaurant with a wine bar downstairs. Amazing selection of wines and a great value menu pre 1845 where you can get 2 courses for £15. The snails are a must. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Would recommend a visit.

nice lunch menu. vibrant atmosphere a buzz if you want. the French personal adds to the authentic design decoration and of course eating. love to see that cheese is left out of the refrigerator as if you should give all this stupid European rules a finger salut. try this place if they like French food.

This restaurant serves user-friendly French cuisine and changes its menu seasonally. I began my meal with the butternut soup, which had a perfect balance of flavors. The parmesan risotto stuffed into a mini pumpkin (complete with a clever hat) was a unique and well-executed combination of flavors and textures. Unfortunately, the cheese plate did not live up to my expectations. However, the salted caramel crème brûlée will always hold a special place in my memories for a very long time.

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, but immediately fell in love with it. They offer a fantastic 2-course lunch deal for £12.90, which I would gladly pay double for. The menu includes a variety of impressive dishes, as well as daily specials that the friendly waitress will guide you through. She had a lovely French accent, and I could hear other guests speaking French, confirming that this is a true French dining experience with dishes prepared by a French chef.
