L'Etoile de Montmartre

On the map since today: the best blue cord of my life!! As usual you feel like home. What a good restaurant!

Very good restaurant in the heart of 18th arrondissement. The kitchen is top and service too. For me always burguer her!

Loads were sat outside enjoying a nice evening.....though too many smokers! Just had a couple of beers. Good atmosphere. Staff friendly Ver carta

Very good reception, with terrace on a rather quiet intersection perfect for a coffee. We tested the restoration part slightly disappointed with the quantities at first but finally very copied.

This place was down the street from our hotel, and we visited twice. The outdoor café space was smaller, but the inside restaurant was charming. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. Small menu offering, but the entrees were excellent - better than expected.ACCESSIBLE: Toilet on street level !

Not the best Café décor and not very well maintained but a decent range of food, cooked very well and served up quickly by pleasant staff. I can only assume this Cafe has improved recently, as it does not warrant a lowly 3.5 rating and as the last few reviews are all 4 or above.I can definitely recommend this Café. Ver carta

it was our last night in Paris and we were all exhausted and cranky. Since it was Sunday, not many restaurants were opened in the neighbourhood so we walked and walked until we happened upon this place, a ten minute walk from our apartment.We had such a lovely dinner, with delicious cocktails, lovely service and all at a great price that I am only sad that we only got to eat there once. Absolutely charming little neighbourhood bistro with really good food.This is the kind of place that would be our regular spot if we lived there.

A few friends and I were staying nearby and thought this café would be a nice place for either coffee or some lunch, but in general, the staff was extremely disdainful, as if they were begrudgingly doing us a favor by serving us. One waitress was far more willing to help us, and she is the only reason L'Etoile de Montmartre gets more than one star. My cappuccino did not look nor taste like a cappuccino (more like an espresso with a white loogie spat in it) and the burger was mediocre. If you don't speak fluent french, don't expect anything but dismissive service, death stares from the owner, and an overall unwelcome feeling.

My friend and I came to this place for lunch after 1PM It wasn't even packed but the service was very slow. Our dishes, salade de chèvre, took 45mn to an hour to be served. Food wasn't great at all...But most of all...the service was awful! The waiter was so apathetic, so nonchalant, he even made funny faces after taking our orders, I think this guy shouldn't be working in Hospitality, he is probably so bitter after all these years working in this field... I was very shocked of his bad and unprofessional attitude towards and in front of customers. He even stepped on a customer's dog and didn't apologise for it. Instead he yield "putain le chien là".
