It was lovely from start to finish, couldn't recommend how lovely the staff and atmosphere was. Food was amazing too as well as amazing coffee!!

I decided to purchase a take away coffee before the walk to the bus station and thought I support an independent coffee shop , I couldn’t see the prices displayed on the black board but may be just missed them . I was changed £3.20 for a take away latte which I thought was rather an expensive treat . I will shop around next time and purchase somewhere else .

A super-nice daytime cafe that I absolutely love! Great changing varieties of coffee and amazingly lush and creamy iced latte and milkshakes! The cakes are also very tasty, great outdoors seating and comfy interiors for days with lousy weather! CAUTION: This establishment is operating only in the daytime. The restaurant that operates evenings is run by different people and by my experience is lacking in professionalism on all fronts.

I'm a barista myself and unfortunately the coffee here is far too burnt and bitter to be palatable to drink black (as I like it). Staff uninterested in receiving what at the time, wasn't worded as a complaint. However nice atmosphere, quirky interior. Staff could be better although everyone I came across was lovely, customer sat on the table next to me commented the same. Recent reviews appear to show a decline in quality lately, sorry to hear Ver carta

Went for the first secret diner club evening that is run by Jess who owns the fab 'not today seitan ' in liar liar..what can i say?.the food was on another level. Litrally the best vegan food in Oswestry and way surpasses anything else available in a vegan cafe in Oswestry. The food was beautifully presented, the flavours were amazing and the cocktails were beautiful too. Really hope the owner decides to run these evenings on a regular basis although once word gets around i imagine getting a table will be really difficult. Today, we visited the restaurant for coffee and a bite to eat. We found a table and tried to order our food using the app, but the choices did not match the paper menu. We went downstairs to order instead. The coffee was excellent, but we waited a long time for our food. At one point, we asked for another coffee from a waitress who told us to go downstairs to order. We eventually received our food, but it was not what we ordered. Despite this, we decided to eat it. I requested some sauces, but they took a long time to arrive. My wife and I recently relocated to the area and decided to try out Liar Liar based on recommendations that it is the best coffee in town. Being a bit of a coffee connoisseur, I like to pride myself on knowing good coffee when I taste it. The gentleman working behind the counter was quite friendly, although his energy seemed a bit low. The coffee options were limited to Brazilian and African varieties, with the option to sample one before making a decision. I sampled the African coffee, which was surprisingly light and resembled black tea in appearance. While the taste was decent, it was too light and subtle for my liking.
