Afternoon Tea as a treat for my Mum. Superb service. Eloquently served Afternoon Tea consisting of Mixture of delicate but delicious sandwiches, warm wholemeal scones , numerous cakes a jug of coffee delicious pot of tea. Thoroughly enjoyed by us both. Would definitely recommend.

we had a really nice afternoon. eating was fresh, with a good choice and a lot of it. we took us home. the service was what made it so beautiful for us. the personal made us very welcome to chat time to us and the children, which was so nice. I'd come back to the finals, maybe to the evening next time.

This restaurant is better than dining in Cannes and Monaco. As someone in the film industry, I find this place to be very special. This restaurant is a wonderful spot for a Sunday dinner. The waitress is extremely attentive and Chris is an excellent manager. I have enjoyed many meals at this restaurant and have made some unforgettable memories here. The slow-cooked duck confit is always a solid option, as well as the pan-roasted scallops for those new to the menu.

for many years one eats here and every visit was a delightful experience, not even in 25 plus years we had a bad meal, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff was always first class especially chris the maitre d. and the prices for high quality food are very reasonable. for a special occasion is the perfect place to go, including high times.

Located at a lovely place. 10 mins from the beach. Breakfast was absolutely amazing and so was the service. The Breakfast staff were brilliant. Only recommendation if they had a shower cubicle as I'm 6 feet tall and kept hitting my head on the roof. Couldn't stand up properly as it was too low and with no shower curtain. Overall a lovely and a beautiful experience except for the shower time. Carol at reception was so ever helpful.

had the most wonderful high-time experience it was better than I could ever dream. from the beginning they were extremely helpful, very adaptable and nothing was much annoyed. for days, I have still been getting botanicals of guests who tell me how wonderful the man was. I wish I could get married every day there and will definitely come back for the incredible eating and amazing experience. many thanks to all at the lord bute. laura tom

we got married in the Lord bute and we knew from our first meeting that this was the place. everything was about us and we had a better weekend than we ever thought possible. the team was amazing, eating absolutely beautiful and mentioning a special mention for chris who has a personality everyone loves! during our whole weekend (as many guests also stayed) the guests gave a comment about how inviting it was, how beautiful the heart is and how amazing the food was. if they are looking to book their high time, they do not be disappointed and it is great worth for money. marcus kayleigh

I had great expectations for the hotel and really looking forward to staying there. We booked for one night with breakfast. Not 5 Star by my standards. No face cloths, bathrobes or complimentary slippers in room. The soap dispensers were not clean and neither was the shower screen. Had trouble trying to get the shower going in the morning, not user friendly. Room on the main road, had trouble getting to sleep because of constant traffic and then woken very early with heavy lorries shaking the building. Breakfast, eventually found the dining room as no staff around. Tea cup was dirty and the other had a crack in the handle. Hubby took two other cups from another table. Asked for Full English...
