Our best meal. Very high quality. I wanted a fine wine to accompany the incredible food. Our waiter knew nothing about wine. It took us some time to find the restaurant. Acceptable price.

Great dinner in this town in Tuscany. The restaurant has exposed brick, retro and classic furniture and very modern fixtures. The mix works! We shared a Florentine Beefsteak and it was cooked just right. Very tender. Great young staff. The friendly owner came and chatted to us in very good English and seems a very enterprising fellow.He does the cooking. This place is special.

Je suis mêlé à ce restaurant. La carte est courte et semble si attrayante. déception avec le risotto, pas assez crémeux, les artichauts non traités. sans trop d'intérêt. Mon mari a pris un très bon filet de bœuf. Le gâteau au dessert était bizarre ! Ce n'était plus un fouetté, mais ce n'était pas un mauvais tour. endroit agréable et typique à se souvenir pour l'endroit mais pas pour la cuisine.

L'Ostematto is first class. The food is superb. Our meal was delicious. The tables are all different and beautifully prepared and the lighting is wonderful. Service was friendly but not up to the level of the restaurant. The price was low. It was a memorable evening in a wonderful atmosphere. I understand the restaurant opened only recently but you will have to reserve: the locals have discovered this place and it was full when we were there!

Italian food at its very best. I had never realised before how an inventive and truly creative chef can make the usual Tuscan specialties and transform them into haute cuisine . Our dinner was fabulous. We had a selection of starters, gnocchi, and fillet steak. Put like that, it does not sound much but it was an extraordinary meal, and every mouthful was delicious. The extraordinary thing is it costs no more than an ordinary trattoria. The house red was a very good Chianti and excellent value. The staff were helpful, efficient and welcoming. Flawless.

This place is really a refreshing gem in a city with such traditional restaurants! The decor was very modern but with a 60/70s flair to it, with mismatched tables and concrete walls. It was a great setting to be eating in. We had a delicious Chianti wine, and for food, everyone at the table was super happy with what they got. I had such a innovative take on the traditional Caesar salad inside a Parmesan taco to start, then a delicious filled pasta as a first and tasty beef as my main. Innovative take on traditional Italian cuisine that you could tell took lots of dedication to perfect!

This was the best meal we had during the stay.The restaurant is new but the few reviews looked promising. So we went! The food is exquisite no other word for it. We tend to prefer the hearty Tuscan fare we had elsewhere but we can appreciate when a chef is playing at the top of his game. This was refined and inventive Tuscan food and every mouthful was perfect. If the restaurant was in London or Dublin (Tokyo, Paris, New York! it would be a sensation. The decor is a mix of modern and old Tuscany and it works. The staff were noticeably nice. This was one of the best meals I have ever had in a restaurant. The food was exceptional and the outstandingly low prices made it an evening not to be forgotten! We had Ostematto, a mix of all the appetisers, to start. Then wonderful handmade pici, followed by slices of beefsteak fillet cooked as ordered. We finished with some amazing desserts including a perfect chocolate soufflé. The house wine is a sturdy local Chianti. Very good coffee.
