"We made a reservation at the restaurant for people therefore, we were expected. Upon arrival, we were located at the outside tables. It took minutes until we received the menus and minutes to order drinks, entrances and main dishes. Until then...it was fine. But then things turn to a different direction. We waited hour since we placed the orders for us to get the drinks served (just the drinks, neither the starters nor the main dishes arrived then). Within that hour, we called several times the waiter who came to say in minutes but eventually never returned. It was not until I went inside the restaurant to complain that after hour since ordering we were still without even drinks that the personnel reacted to the petition. The waiter came to the table and explain that it is a Friday evening and therefore it takes time to serve He did not ask us to be patient because he had too many people to serve (which would have been a better strategy). Instead he said that we had to cope with the situation because it is like that everywhere. That was no apology, and it came out not very nicely specially after we explain (again) the waiter that waiting hours for food is ok but with at least with drinks in the table. minutes after getting the drinks we were finally serve the starters but once again it took me to go into the restaurant to complain for the lack of service to get the first dish delivered. The service team shows up from that point onwards regularly to check on the table since they realized the mistake they made. Of course, there was no complementary drinks of dessert for the problems caused. The food was average, with medium size dishes that aim at presenting Italian food with a bit of an alternative interpretation. If you are very hungry, perhaps these dishes are not a good price/quantity ratio. That being said, the quality of food did not compensate for such a ridiculously long wait to be served. This is not the first time we have problems with lack of service at this location. We were there during week days with similar results. We were expecting that over time the restaurant had overcome its service limitation or it will be more prepared to provide a good experience on a Friday night. Certainly this was not the case. Being this a recurring problem, we are not returning to a restaurant that has a mid-range expensive menu not to have a good experience."

the most authentic Italian cuisine in Mannheim! The restaurant is very cozy, the service super friendly. There is a point drop for the size of the portions. On the plates, a tick could be more on it for the prices called. Ver carta

Schöne Trattoriea in Mannheim . Wir haben dort sehr lecker gegessen und der Wein war super! Gern wieder, unbedingt reservieren. Beautiful trattoria in Mannheim. We had a delicious meal there and the wine was great! Gladly again, make a reservation.

A real recommendation! Food and atmosphere as in Italy holiday! Homemade noodles according to typical Italian recipes: where do you still find this today?! Top quality at fair prices! And the service has more than convinced! Thanks for a really nice evening!

Great food, immediately confirmation of the email reservation, actually more than 4 stars... small distances for small distances to the neighboring table, for beer little options if you don't like wheat beer and the 8,90€ for the Italian beer are a very proud price and at dessert the pear lacks Ver carta

Overall a bad price/performance ratio. The food is quite high-priced (19 euros for a pizza/15 euros for a small appetizer) but neither quantitatively nor qualitatively appropriate. There are also long waiting times between the corridors. I don't mind spending a lot of money on good food in the Luisella is the relationship but not appropriate and the atmosphere doesn't really fit

Luisella is located in a not too busy street of Mannheim, offering a few tables to sit outside, as well as indoor sitting, too. It offers freshly made homemade pasta (surcharge together with all the dishes one would expect to find at an Italian restaurant....The quality of the food was good, however the service was rather slow and lacked efficiency (at the time of my visit only a few tables were occupied). If you are nearby and fancy Italian food give it a try!
