"We have recently celebrated our 30th Highschool Reunion at this Restaurant. We reserved tables for about 30 people, all of them were arranged neatly on the first floor. As everybody arrived at their own leisure, it was clear that orders would come in piecemeal. Some with food, so only for drinks. Despite booking the tables weeks in advance, Lucifer did not bother to set aside an extra server. That resulted in extreme waiting times for orders. In one situation I received 2 beers within 5min while waiting for them more than 1hr. Very strange, and when asking for service we received quite some unfriendly responses by the waiters. The menu at Luzifer is actually quite nice and the food comes with an affordable price range. I had some Penne Diavoli which turned out to be be excellent, albeit showing up late after my order. At around 10.30pm we were asked to pay our bills as the restaurant was about to close soon. While I do understand the concept of opening hours, there would have still been some significant business possible. We would have wished for some extra flexibility here. While paying, things became also quite complex as tracking down the individual orders seems to be extremely challenging for the staff. So overall I cannot really recommend the restaurant because of the rather rude way we were treated as customers. This is not what I expect, especially when a large party commits to some significant business. Maybe the management should give some more attention to this, otherwise things might develop into the wrong direction."

If you are searching for a restaurant with either a great view on the ship's pathway fromLuebeck harbour to the open sea or just a nice place to enjoy good (sea)food you should try the Luzifer's. With a small kid's corner even the youngest guests are well entertained.

1st Feb 2015, 4 of us went for the buffet lunch today. Excellent, the food was good, the service excellent, can only recommend the Luzifer. Book a table in the window on the top floor and watch the ships go by! Price including drinks was about 25 Euros per person which seems very reasonable.

The Restaurant is located right at the waterfront, overlooking the harbour and the charming ferry to the Priwall. You can sit in typical beach chairs or on the Terrace and enjoy the evening sun, while eating local fish and drinking an amber coloured viking beer. Good service, fresh and local food, definitely a place to go!

Taken to Luzifer by a work colleague, great location watching the ferry's go by. Asparagus was in season and chose these baked in crispy breadcrumb, pork fillets and a baked herbed bread, good portions, well cooked and well presented. Great service from the waitress who spoke good English. A good value for money restaurant.

We asked the waiter. If the fish soup with chili is very hot. She said there's not much chili in there. So we ordered 3 regular fish sheds. She only brought two, one without chili. The service could have been better. The fish in the soup tastes good, but the broth tastes just like water. Can't recommend the fish soup, maybe fries or pancakes are better.

I was there already a couple of times for brunch and also dinner, the food was really good, the menu has a good variety, the enviroment and the view are really nice. The attention we received from the last time was really friendly and attent. I dont remember the name of the waiter but I remember he said some things on french. We are looking forward for the brunch on December 25th.

We stopped at this great located place, close to the waterline. Nice to see the big boats passing by. Our service lady was really active and had good advices... We had the large salat and the large greek salat. Euro 10 and 12,50. Large servings, the balsamico dressing and the feta cheese were amazing... After the salads, we shared a rice pudding... Amazing, too... Price/value good. Good place for an early dinner....

The location right at the fish harbor is just perfect. You can sit at the waterfront in one of the traditional roofed wicket beach chairs, on the terrace or you climb up to the second floor. From the terrace there you have a beautiful view, overlooking the whole bay, perfect setting for a sundowner. The Askard beer is a local one, worth to try frim the tap. If you want to experience local food, try the "labskaus fuer Anfaenger"!

My wife and I visited this restaurant for a Gluhwein to warm up after a local afternoon walk, and to to check it out as a potential venue for dinner that night. The restaurant was not very busy and we chose seats by the window and were served quite quickly. Customer wi-fi access was advertised, and I asked the waitress for the access code as I wished to check a train time on my i-Pad. She said she would need to check and went away, only to return shortly afterwards and to say I couldn't have code. It would appear that we were sitting at a table in the restaurant which merited us buying more than our two Gluhweins for the privilege of Internet access, despite it being advertised as a restaura...

"at noon, weekdays, shortly after 12 in the china restaurant phönix: the people give themselves the clinke in the hand, the purest almauftrieb, big hallo, how we do, the same we always, today something else, school knocks, you know ... the phönix is something like a villagekneipe in the earlier sinne, just a china restaurant. the ambiente is in the big and whole as you know from chinarestaurants, with lampions and pictures with Asian motives, the rest is that of an old German living room with franses at the raffgardinen, a bit tight everything, pot flowers on the window benches and tablecloths in old pink/white. the female Asian service is “professional friendly”, flink, however a smile is probably luxurious and not included in the inexpensive lunch table, at least she has no over for us. during our stay in the restaurant, I noticed that ancestral guests are happyly smiling and served with nice words, as well as the elderly who sits alone on the table next to us, we will be treated as “new guests” with less friendly, so to speak “smiling”. a little more openness to new guests could not harm and would convey the feeling of being welcome as (yet) non-square guests – and this could in turn facilitate new guests' decision for a possible ancestral customer. the menu preist to the lunch table various dishes, all for 5,90 euro inclusive suppe or early roll, depending on the choice. 5,90 Euro... I am skeptical... can you conjure a good lunch? one can! the portions are large, the sweet (tubes, red and green paprika, bambus, wobbles, champignons) plus ananas is rich, versatile and crunchy fresh. my skinny tastes as delicious as the suppe; we are very satisfied and pappsatt when we leave the restaurant. a good restaurant, nothing spectacular but what is offered for 5,90 euro is great! Conclusion: ambiente 3 stars, operation 4 stars, eating and value for 5 stars"

"Short description: Unfortunately very disappointing! Operation 4 stars, Ambience 3 stars, Eating 1 star, Toilets 1 star.... The Greek restaurant “Hellas Taverna” is located at the end of the street “Herrendamm”. We travel with friends, parking on the free parking of the sports centre. The restaurant awaits with a room with about 10 tables of different sizes; in an adjoining room are further tables and chairs. The ambience: The ceiling reminds me of a Chinese restaurant, the furniture of a village agritourism, the walls with many photos of a bar... In short, at first glance, I do not find myself in a Greek restaurant. On the tables are bright yellow table runners, candle with it and a mini bass of about 5 cm size with Greek motifs; Väschen is also everything that concerns my attention in Greek design. What is more important: some light bulbs/lamps in the room are either out of function for cost reasons or they are simply broken!? The menus, immediately brought by the service, promise the usual suspects: grilled meat, fish, salads, desserts... I decide for the number 20 chicken breast fillet from the grill with roasted vegetables, tzatziki, patates and small salad supplement at €10,50. My three companions choose other dishes. The drinks are served very quickly, we wait for a beaten hour for our food and the restaurant is only half loaded... At first glance, the food still looks delicious, at second glance I notice that the fried vegetables are missing. While I still refer to the lack of vegetables, Mr LUT reports abundant salty patties and our friend points to a black-charred French and half a raw piece of meat on a spit. My friend mentions chewing hard, never eating so hard and dry gros. If the operation is in the auditorium, I mention the missing vegetables. He regrets, offers me an espresso as a accusation. Thank you, honey, but I'd like the vegetables. He goes and I actually expect the delivery of the vegetables... I'll wait. Unfortunately, this was not the end of the flag bar – one of the two small fillets is not fried, partly still raw, a fact that completely spoiled my appetite in poultry. Each of us four leaves a part of the food on the plates, extremely hard gyros, the black upper and lower part of a frying band, the raw meat piece of the spear, the raw meat of the fillet, some salted patates... And while we wait for the service to ask for the bill, I will make a visit to the ladies' room. In the front area it is bright, in the rear area much darker. Of the five radiators over the six toilet cabins, 3 are defective. Unfortunately, in the half-dark, I notice too late that no toilet paper in the box in the cabin I picked up – just good that I have a clean bag towel... As it belongs, I wash my hands, hold them in front of the sensor and expect a paper towel that should actually roll out of the donor. Don't do it – the donor is empty! Looking to dry toilet paper in the other five toilet cabins? No, thanks. With wet hands and annoying mood, I return to the table. We share all four of the service in friendly but also clear words our disappointment. The man is obviously uncomfortable, he has the mistakes that others have bleededed out. In view of the remaining remains on the plates with their clearly visible defects, he only offers us to calculate the beverages. We accept the offer, but we would like to have paid more and had a culinary evening for it. The service deserves respect. The man was sovereign and accommodating with the misery. Maybe there's a second chance with a later update."
