"Let 's start by saying that I personally made this point known to at least 20 people within a 20 MT radius so I don 't hide behind the keyboard as those who respond to reviews like to point out. I come to report what exactly happened this morning in this lovely place in San Gimignano. I 'm from Poggibonsi so I 'm used to being served by people with a much lower level of elegance but a much higher level of kindness and friendliness towards the customer. This morning the 3 barmaids in an impeccable starched uniform served us 2 croissants and 2 coffees looking at both me and my husband as if we were two beggars, they took the cup away from us at the exact moment I placed it on the saucer, while the colleague was already ready at the register taking the bill... I don 't know if there is a dress code to enter such a local place, they were in no hurry, we were 3 cats so I can simply deduce that they serve the customer based on the sympathy they arouse or maybe you have to be from San Gimignano to be treated with respect? I don 't think the gentleman who responds to reviews has much to object to the above, hire good people who aren 't on a pedestal because you have tourists but being talked down to because of rude employees I think is worse than closing . Habe hier während unseres Aufenthalts mehrmals Gebäck fürs Frühstück geholt und dabei einen Espresso oder Cappuccino an der Bar genossen. Das hat alles sehr gut geklappt und geschmeckt und ich wurde freundlich und in gutem Englisch bedient. Mehr kann ich hier nicht beurteilen, aber für meine Zwecke war das Café absolut passend.
