"I have been to this restaurant once before ~ last year when it was smaller (on the other side of the street). I went back because the food and experience then was so good.The food remains excellent and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very friendly and relaxed however the one waiter on this visit was so slow, spending more time on his till than with his customers, it became irritating.I would still go back for the food, but at a less busy time."

Might be that Mama Kalo offers the best Flammkuchen in Berlin, at least in Neukölln... Good service and ok prices.

The salad with goats cheese and walnuts was delicious. The Flammkuchen with beetroot as well. Nice staff. Good wine.

Already visited 2times. I have been looking for french Galette for a long time! I highly recommend one with käse& speck or ham.

Perhaps the best Flammkochen in town? I tried them and they were o.k., but a bit small as dinner. Their Grauburgunder was nice and quite cheap!

My girlfriend and I use to go there once in a while...It's a small and nice restaurant where you can find an intimate and cozy atmosphere. The food is very good. We like to go there to taste spaetzle while drinking a glass of good white wine ;) Suggested!

After visiting Tempelhof on a beautiful cold and sunny day, we looked for warmth and food in this charming establishment. Mama Kalo enchanted us with delicious coffee and sweet pancakes.The price was right (13 euro for 2 people) and the owners were friendly.

Food is very tasty, staff is quite friendly. It s more a cafe serving good food than a proper restaurant. service is slow despite several people in the kitchen and only 9 customers.Inside is very noisy especially due to the configuration of the bar/open kitchen. Price is okish

That's really a nice bar, we've been here lately two times. The first time was really quite and nice and the second was a little bit chaotic cause they were cooking something and the smoke from the kitchen was pretty intense.. At the end we left:) but I will give them a try cause they are at the beginning right now :)
