Our waiter came over to take our drink order, but since I was driving, we opted for tap water instead of alcoholic beverages. For our meal, I ordered the pizza Di Carne, while my partner chose the fusilli pasta carbonara. To our delight, our food arrived within just 10 minutes. The pizza had a nice fluffy crust and was generously topped with fresh ingredients. The pasta was equally satisfying, topped with extra cheese and very filling. Overall, we had a delightful dining experience with excellent food and attentive hosts. I would rate it a solid 5 out of 5. We occasionally meet chums in Newmarket and this Italian was the place we agreed to meet for lunch. First time for us and overall a pretty good effort. Requested a better table but they couldn't accomodate the request, when obviously they could but no biggy . The food was good but not what I would call spectacular but would gladly go back and eat there again, so I would urge you to do the same. I think the trouble is we holiday in Tuscany, and frequent several high end Italian restaurants here in the Midlands.
