Always an incredibly warm welcome, nothing pretentious just amazing food, freshly cooked and the bonus of a chance to practice my not very good Italian. In my very humble opinion the best coffee in Newport. Lovely cafe authentic feel, surrounded by every type of pasta in existence. Food is also very good, give yourself time as it's all freshly prepared. However, while you wait you can have some excellent Italian beer. Family run business.

I recently visited Merenghi's for a delightful evening dining. The three-course meal was exceptional, and the wine selection added the perfect touch to the experience. I highly recommend trying the rum baba, as it was a delicious conclusion to the meal. The ambiance and service were equally impressive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a memorable dining experience.
