I Was served swiftly the staff were friendly and food was good Lesley and Julie were very helpful the cafe was clean and welcoming

As the title said I called in for a quick cup of tea as I was on my lunch break. Staff friendly. Cafe clean and the bucket seats very comfy.

The coffee was delicious, and both the toasted tea cake and bacon buttie (my husband had that) were excellent as well. The cafe was very clean, and the tables were cleared regularly.

The staff at this restaurant are amazing. They are always willing to assist with a smile. The food is delicious and the drinks are expertly crafted by their baristas. They are the best group of servers I have ever had the pleasure of dining with!

This was my first time back in a while, and I enjoyed a nice pot of tea along with the fish finger sandwich. I found the choice of bread disappointing for a restaurant like M&S, and I think the salad leaves would have been better served on the side along with some tartare sauce. The staff was friendly and provided good service.

Visited twice this week. Nice selection of fresh food available as well as hot and cold drinks. The first time I had the ham and cheese toasty with a latte both very nice. Today I went for the chichen, mushroom and rice soup which came with 2 soft rolls. The soup was very tasty and would definitely recommend it. Plenty of seating available. Plenty of staff. Very clean and the tables was cleared and cleaned quickly once people left.

I got a salted Caramel Frappe it had no Coffee at all. I am a little confused how this is a Frappe? In my world I would suggest for the menu it is a milkshake. So why did I not complain I hear you all ask. The staff had said they were short staffed I saw 4 staff working the cafe with 15 people sat in the cafe eating and a couple at the till. How the world has changed. Plus my milkshake/frappe was very good. I use to run a bar with 1 staff with over 100 people in. M&S I could train your staff and triple your throughput. Sadly I am not available. Customer is king.

We used to visit this cafe every saturday morning week in and week out for breakfast or luch but since their refurbishment it has gone downhill dramatically. Never much choice of sandwiches, hardly ever have gluten free roll to go with the soup, the old catering staff that were lovely cheerfull and helpfull have dissapeared and been replaces by what i can only describe as moaning old dinner ladies. The coffee sed to be gorgeous now its so strong i can no longer drink it even when i ask for a weak one it is like tar. Fortunately costa coffee had opened up and sadly to say marks and sparks has lost lots of its customers from the cafe.
