"This restaurant is a bit hard to find, in a street otherwise neglected by tourists except for an odd game called the Exit Game, which my wife and youngest child had a go at. The idea is that you solve puzzles against the clock, and...if you fail, the city is destroyed, Fortunately, it was just a game; and so we met up afterwards here. The decor is dark wood, and rather gloomy, with a distinct 1975 ambience: china cockerels, wine bottles in odd places, a rather strange object in the window which defies any descriptive powers available to me, etc., But the food is very good. My steak was excellent, and cooked perfectly according to my instructions. My wife enjoyed her salmon, and the children enjoyed their bits and bobs. Although tiramisu is a hackneyed choice for dessert, it was a good one, as was the coffee. The service was cheerful, and we had a good evening."

Found this place not far from where we were staying. Excellent value for money, Seems slow between courses but well worth the wait. So you are not rushed. Serve is good and the staff very helpful.

Auf Empfehlung des Hotelpersonals die richtige Wahl.Klasse Essen mit lokalen Angeboten. Im Ausschank auch ein in der nähe gebrautes Bier. Personal ist sehr freundlich und bei unserem nächsten Besuch werden wir definitiv wiederkommen.

2 keer goed gegeten bij dit leuke restaurant. Dag 1 een pizza en dag 2 een schnitzel. Eind september nog mooi weer dus heerlijk buiten kunnen zitten. Eten is goed niet duur en de bediening is goed. Op 5 minuten lopen van Hauptbahnhof. Ver carta

Hoewel het nog even duurde voor er een keus kon worden gemaakt uit de (te) uitgebreide menukaart, duurde het serveren ook nog even. Standaard gerechten en vriendelijke bediening. Tafels vol bezet. Wijn was prima, tegen verwachting in. Salade met artisjokken bevatte helaas geen artisjokken maar pepers... eten redelijk.

Zufällig habe ich das familiäre Restaurant gefunden, das sich in einem historischen Gebäude aus der 1. Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts befindet; bei schönem Wetter kann man vor dem Haus, aber abgegrenzt von der Straße, sitzen. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden Geschmack und Hunger ein großes Angebot, die Weinauswahl ist nicht spektakulär, aber solide und es gibt neben den üblichen Bieren ein in Moabit gebrautes Pils von Brewbaker, das sehr zu empfehlen ist (auch, wenn es nicht in einem Pilsglas ausgeschenkt wurde). Die Nudeln waren perfekt al dente in einer gut gewürzten, nicht zu mächtigen Soße gekocht. Der Service war freundlich. Ich werde bestimmt wiederkommen.
