"Dado que muchas de las críticas de Schatull son favorables, dudo en enviar un informe negativo, ya que nuestra experiencia fue quizás una anomalía. Sin embargo, creo que es importante compartir nuestras observaciones. Llegamos a Schatull y nos sentamos en minutos. El camarero ... tomó nuestra orden de bebidas y comida al mismo tiempo. Señalé en el menú las comidas que queríamos y establecí que las comidas no contenían hongos. Mi esposa es alérgica. El lugar de mi esposa consistía en un cuchillo sucio y sin tenedor cuando el camarero trajo nuestras bebidas rápidamente, proporcionó un lugar limpio para los dos hasta ahora todo bien. Mientras tanto, varios invitados llegaron poco después de que lo hicimos, había mesas aproximadamente ocupadas que podíamos ver desde nuestro punto de vista. Avance rápido una hora y no volvimos a ver al camarero. Al menos me hubiera gustado pedir una segunda cerveza mientras esperábamos. Pagamos por las bebidas y nos hubiéramos ido hubiera estado bien si no nos hubieran cobrado por aquellos considerando que desperdiciamos una hora de nuestro tiempo. Por cierto, durante ese período de una hora, la única comida que se entregó en cualquiera de las otras mesas fue una ensalada, por lo que parece claro que hubo algún tipo de problema en la cocina agravado por el servicio incompetente."

"La comida nos pareció buena. El problema fue a la hora de pagar que nos habían cobrado consumiciones que no eran nuestras. Se lo comentamos a la camarera y sin mirar el tickets ya sabía de lo que estábamos hablando. Nos fuimos con la sensación de que nos habían intentado cobrar de más por ser extranjeros. "My wife and I picked this place after reading reviews from last year. Apparently, this place is either under new management or has been remodeled including a new menu. (An English version is in the works).Many of the things mentioned in the reviews were not available. That made us let the waitress make recommendations. She did very well. We started with the Flamm Munster which was like nothing I have ever had but very good. My wife had the Spargelrolle (asparagus and ham wrapped in a crepe with hollandaise sauce) and it was delicious. I had the Angus Rumpsteak which came with a great fresh salad and fries. The steak was marinated in olive oil and spices( gave it a different flavor that I had had before but very good) and was cooked perfectly (med rare as requested). The staff spoke good English and were very attentive and excited that we enjoyed the food so much. Would return. Spent about 50 Euro total with drinks..water and soda."

"we have eaten here a few times on our first trip to gengenbach and also on the last trip. once we ate in the beer garden. no one was there and we waited and waited and finally a man came out. I couldn't say if he was rude or just tried to be funny. it was a difficult experience to accept our order. next time we ate in. there are two inside parts - the bar and the restaurant. the bar is clearly the main venue. when we sat down, two women played video games. no one came back. we went, but we saw nowhere else in the city where we wanted to eat this evening, so we went back. the two women were still there, they showed us that we had to ring what we did, and the waitress came. that was in order. the first time I had blown and the woman had a salami cheese sandwich. the second time I had half a chicken and pommes. they kicked the chicken and it had an excellent crispy skin. I also had pommes - too many to eat. the woman had bratwurst and potato salad. the food was good and the price was excellent. I don't know if smoking is allowed in the restaurant, but it was clear in the bar and the smoke traveled to the restaurant, so if they don't like the smoke smell, the inside restaurant is not the right place for them."

"Three stars because the operator was very nice. I can't recommend food. When I go to a vineyard, I don't expect turkey or salmonasian, but a map that contains pure traditional dishes. Especially since the Asian prepared turkey is probably simply poured over with a sweet-saure prepared sauce. My pork larvae were very hard, the sauce was little rich and not even a champignon, but only three fragments of it were contained in the sauce. For more than 20€ for the court I expect a little more. The boss was still rude at the end because my son ordered part of the delay. You wouldn't be a single court on the map."
