"I have been going to Mick Elly ever since we discovered it 9 years ago and the quality of the pizzas has remained excellent. A great family restaurant with a super friendly staff and good value for money. Located on the main road from the Quatre Chemins roundabout going to Grasse centre the restaurant has parking onsite but please be aware it is extremely limited and fills up quickly. Parking can be found within 3-4 minutes walk in any case. The restaurant offers both a take-away service for pizzas in addition to sit down dining. There is a sizeable terrace which is located away from the main road which is open both in the winter (covered with electric heating) and summer and an interior dining room that is air conditioned in the summer. The restaurant serves a range of pizzas to suit all tastes as well as an a la carte menu with specialities of the day, such as steak, lasagne, fish fo the day. The pizzas are "geant" and made to order with a thin crust straight from the wood fired oven. The Calzone is not fo the faint hearted as it pretty much is a meal for 2. Ambience is lively at the weekends. NB they are not open Sunday evenings & Monday."

Ordered the Pepperoni and Mozzarella pizzas for lunch! Decent pizzas for a fair price. Also ordered the lemon pie and creme brûlée that were both quite good!

Our party of 9 had lunch at Mick Elly on June 8. Perhaps the best pizza we have ever experienced! Thinnest, crispy crust and delicious toppings. Would go back tomorrow!

Had a fabulous pizza and Mrs H a Ceasar salad. House wine @ 8 euros fantastic. Recommended. Total bill for 2 mains 1 dessert and wine just over 45 euros. Very near Hotel Elixir Grasse. Ver carta

Easy to book even with my average French. Pleasant restaurant staff but allow me to me to practice my French with you. Good food at a decent price. Nice terrace seating but lots of smoke from other guests. Very pleasant, would recommend

We visited this restaurant on three occasions when we spent a week in Grasse. We were not impressed by our hotel dinner menus, and found this little gem of a restaurant. The choice of food was excellent, the staff were all very welcoming and friendly, and the restaurant was used by local people made full of this restaurant. We saw many pizzas as take aways, as well as pizza being served to some diners. Families were welcomed, and the restaurant was busy on all three occasions.

This is my second visit to this restaurant once with friends in August and now March this year with my Aunt who lives nearby. Both time the food and service was fantastic. As an English speaker the waiters speak enough English to help you out or to understand any bad French you try. The pizzas are very large but they have a very very thin almost crepe type base, with plenty of topping. Reasonably priced & good wine. Thanks to the staff who made this meal fantastic. Hope to come back in the summertime Ver carta

We had a meal at Mick Elly's and were very disappointed. Having read reviews of the large helpings of pizza we decided to order. Yes indeed the pizza was large... vulgarly so. It was falling over the edges of the plate. The Base was so thin it could have been a crèpe. This meant there was lots of tomato and cheese on a very thin base. The seasoning did not compliment the pizza. It was difficult to finish . Service was lovely little lacking as the waiting staff had to be reminded to bring items. There were lots of families and dogs present with the smokers.

My wife and I ate here because the restaurant at the BW Elixir Grasse near by was closed ("Chef on holidays!"). The pizzas were very good (as others have said, thin, crisp and very large), and the house red was excellent value at €8 for a 75 cc carafe. The desert - the "tarte gourmande" - was spectacular. It was an apple tart, flambéed with liqueur, and served with vanilla ice (we asked them to omit the chantilly cream which normally comes with it also). Really tasty, and a huge portion. The restaurant was busy, and is clearly popular with locals. A good spot for a casual meal.

"My wife and I ate at this 1* Michelin restaurant on the edge of Grasse in Maganos last night, and it is by far the best new discovery in the Côte d’Azur we have come across this summer. The restaurant is family owned and operated, featuring Sébastien Giraud as the head chef and his wife Madame Giraud as the maître d’. The location offers a beautiful view down through the valley of Grasse, and it is relatively quiet even though it is on a main artery into Grasse from the east. There are only 15 or so covers, and this – in my opinion – is a benefit to patrons both in terms of quality of food and service. The food was absolutely excellent. It is not fussy per se, but features local seasonal ingredients, which is obvious from the first dish. It is creative as well, but not in a way that gets in the way of the taste of the food. On offer is either a 3- or 4-course dinner, at prices of €39 and €55. For quality of the experience, this is outstanding value. Wines are readily available by the bottle or glass, with the latter offerings well-matched with the food and not “over-the-top” expensive. I had fresh tomato and crabmeat starter, followed by the turbot, then a smoked chicken in a lovely broth, and a marvellous finisher, opting for cheese rather than desert. The cheese was special, in that it was a creamy and rather light cheese mousse with summer truffles. All dishes are modest in size and prepared with seasonal (and locally-sourced) ingredients, garnished in a way that makes the flavours come to life. Nothing about the food was disappointing! The service was also excellent, with Mdm Giraud assisted by her very capable son in serving diners. Both French and English are spoken. There is no air at all about this place, which is casual and inviting. With outstanding food, excellent service, a pleasant ambience, and good value, Au Fil du Temp is one of the best finds in this region I have come across in some time, and I highly recommend it."
