"This restaurant describes itself as unique Indian and they’ve nailed it. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating of our request to change the spiciness of a dish. The food was incredible we had onion bhajis and veggie samosas to start and the presentation was really different. For mains I had dal makhani (rich, creamy and delicious) and my husband had smoky lamb tikka. The presentation with the smoke under the cloche was a real wow! I only wish I’d had room for dessert!"

"Sapporo is a full experience. The theatrical and culinary skills of the chefs make it interactive and humorous. Perfect for any age or occasion I use it when hosting family and friends due to it being rare. The menu can be a little confusing with a perception of what you order arrives in a form that you would not expect, I suggest that, if in doubt, ask a staff member, not always easy as they work fast and require an effort to stop."

"Really nice restaurant. I ordered crab for starters, and it was nice. Chicken Parma ham was yummy, a lot of chicken! Sauce was really yummy. Dessert omg, order the tiramisu. He said homemade. Looked homemade tasted it. It's easy and simple when it's done right. Also, a nice shot of baileys and disiranno offered at the end of the meal. Fab service. Would only mark down little for a few small reasons I ordered crab and prawn cocktail came out, no problem, but one of the prawns was a little too cold. The tables are a little too close for my liking, but I understand why also. You could kind of sea the food in the hallway on way to bathroom in kitchen, pasta in big trays uncovered which is kind of weird to me, makes me question hygiene etc. But overall, it's definitely a place to go. Order some wine i expect. It's really nice wine. I didn't order steak, but I bet it's good. My friend had salmon and said it was delicious. Order a tiramisu. They made a nice sing along and fuss for 2 birthdays in the 6 so a nice vibe to go."

"Had such an amazing celebration here at the end of May, the staff were so attentive. I am personally not a huge fan of the cold food selection that is offered as part of the service but this does not take away from the experience overall. We had come to celebrate a birthday and the staff were able to bring over a birthday cake for this celebration as part of their service which was delightful. My favourite on this night for the butchers choice I believe but we could see that the staff were catering to others who do not eat meat rare to medium rare and rather choose to eat well done. very happy with the service provided by the staff. If you are looking for a suggestion on the sides plate the sweet potato and feta is delish, one of our favourites and the truffle fries are nice too! Thank you to everyone who served us!"

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
