We booked for a family of 4 adults and was shown a table for 2. After that we were made to feel like we were an inconvenience. Food was less than average and after talking to Paul , one of the managers he wasn't very helpful in making things right. Didn't even address our complaint. Giving this a miss going forward. The miller and Carter, the dick turpin is much nicer. Sorry for the negative info but they had a chance to make this right.

What an unexpected lovely meal! We wanted to escape from the busy London on a lovely summer evening and drove to there. The steaks were so delicious! Very friendly waiters and lovey cocktails. Enjoyed everything! There were tables outside overlooking the green hills around London but you had to eat inside. As Belgians a bit strange because on a lovely summer evening you just want to enjoy the weather. But just a minor detail. Everything was perfect! Ver carta

Don't go here if you have any allergies or intolerances. They were unfriendly inconsiderate and unaccomadating. Their menu online says food is gluten or dairy free but when you get to the restaurant the food is actually not or is cooked in butter or Cross contaminated. When I complained they then still charged my £25 for my meal which ended up being a plain steak with no sides at all. Not accommodating for an illness i did not choose to have. Will not be back

Lovely quiet spot for a weekday lunch, no need to book. Lots of space in the restaurant, and the large car park. Very good lunch menu offering two courses for £14.25. A baked chorizo starter and a calamari starter were both good. Very good haddock and chips with an excellent batter. Excellent chargrilled chicken breast with a mushroom sauce. Some good Pino Grigio a warm bottle was replaced without question. Wonderfully relaxed and pleasant service. About £75 for two including two decent bottles of wine. Worth recommending.

The only thing I don 't like about Miller and Carter is that they don 't keep the original name of the place they take over. Everything is the same, same decor and quite boring. Compare this with Wetherspoon where you see the old name, lots of pictures reminding customers about the history of the place. I visited the former Camelot near Hainault Forest. All the signs in the forest point to 'Camelot ' the former name, but on the actual building there is only Miller and Carter which disregards the history of the place and is pretty boring. Ver carta
