"We booked a table on a weekday night in August and probably would’ve got away without having done so though they were very busy. Service was wonderfully friendly and efficient and not intrusive. The food was great too. I’d been unable to find a menu online and stupidly forgot to photograph it for this review. Base prices were reasonable, though not particularly cheap. They impose a 12.5% service charge and also say that the minimum order per person is £20. We ended up buying a bottle of wine for £30, which felt a bit steep but, after all, this is Mayfair!"

This spot is great for a casual lunch but be ready for the great food. The huge portions are good quality and full of flavour, authentic Italian at its best.

Really loved this restaurant, food was fabulous as was the service. Will definitely visit again when in London. This restaurant is a must, and reasonably priced too.

My husband and I celebrated my birthday with a lovely dinner. The staff was very helpful and kind. The food was outstanding! We will plan to return for dinner when we are in the area again. Ver carta

Had lunch ravioli with crab and shrimps (day’s/week’s specials), bistecca with fresh fries and a great mushroom sauce, tiramisu. It was all delicious, I recommend it to italian food lovers.

Small authentic Italian restaurant. We both had lasagna and it was very good! Service matched the food a comfortable restaurant for a good meal worth revisit for certain. Reservation likely to be required.

On a mid sept balmy night (2023) we sat with friends outside whilst being served by the most friendly and attentive staff Monica, Rafik and Adam. The food was great ranging from Calamari fresh Sea Bream to Carbonara all at affordable prices (considering the location). The great staff, food and small ambient Mayfair street supported a welcoming atmosphere and culminated in our having a superb evening. I would highly recommend. Ver carta

Absolutely fantastic! You will feel like you’ve discovered something special in London. Sam, the owner is delightful and a phenomenal cook. He also tells great stories. The service is wonderful. Friendly accommodating staff. They also care deeply about allergies. We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough! It’s not a big restaurant, small and intimate. Would recommend making reservations in advance if you are thinking about eating here. Fantastic, authentic Italian food.

We popped in without booking and was told a table would be ready in 30 minutes. Nipped into Ye Grapes pub nearby to wait . So glad we did . What a bonus to a great stay in London. I had fillet steak as a special and my wife had crab filled ravioli. We really enjoyed both meals and enjoyed the ambience of this small Italian Restaurant that’s in Shepherds Market Mayfair. Great location. Food was excellent and so was the service. Reasonably priced and the house wile was good too. A great find.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
