I enjoyed sushi, but the price was exaggerated. other places like 5 kitchen are better. but if they want sushi in the walluf area, they cannot go wrong.

Went there for a nice lunch. They serve authentic Japanese food cooked by Japanese people. They have a nice array of food including sushi, but, also serve many other dishes. Good food, if you want to eat here for dinner, I suggest reservations. The place...is very small. Ver carta

excellent Japanese cuisine, in a small restaurant with a train station. it is a joy to return to miyagi after the kovid break. it is a family owned and run restaurant with food prepared with great skill. it is always a pleasure to visit miyagi. as long as there's space for us. the seat is limited in the did. worth a visit!

I spent several months in Japan and it is not often that I find a place that brings all the memories back to me. I dined here with my husband and I know we will be back. My husband had the seaweed salad, miso soup...and Tempura while I had Miso soup, tofu, and chirashi. All were fresh, perfectly prepared and beautifully served. And they served Mogi-cha a personal favorite tea. YAY!!!

Miyagi is the only real Japanese location in and around 50km obviously this comes with a huge bonus. Every other sushi place I tried in and around Wiesbaden is a discrace compared to the real deal in Japan only Hogsam when still open was able...to compete. Miyagi offers the right variety of sushi, sashimi and other traditional Japanese dishes. Quality is good, location and service is only average. The food offers no real innovation and prices are a bit on the high side. I would wish the owners to be a bit more open and fun with there guests, since a good sushi place also lives from the interaction with its guests. Ver carta

there are many sushi shops in Mainz/Wiesbaden, but actually they do not offer sushi. they normally offer california rice and fish something with heavier sauce and deep frying. but miyagi is actually a sushi place comparable to one they find in tokio themselves. not just. the rice is perfect, but the variety of fish is bigger and the quality is much better then at other places in this opposite. Although I must say that the perfection of the old sushi masters was a bit better and he uses more fish. but perhaps the new one will also improve and come to the same perfection. I would not recommend it for people who eat in the rule, they can sushi places and similar as they are shocked by the price...

Went for dinner with friends on a Thursday night. The person who invited me previously lived in Tokyo for many years, and he told us the food would be excellent. When I entered the restaurant, the decor was typical old-school German, and if I hadn't...known better, I would have thought I was in a German Gasthaus. However, the staff were Japanese, and there were two Japanese customers already eating in the restaurant, which gave me the indication the food was probably authentic. The menu had a wide variety of authentic Japanese classics, including sushi, sashimi, yakitori, green tea ice cream, etc. They also served Japanese beer. Being a foodie I don't pay too much attention to the interior and think that it's okay if the guests of a restaurant don't have to pay for the toilets made of gold. For me it is much more important what's on my plate and...what's in my glass. All the sushi I had were very good and fresh. And I was given a nice soup with clams. But unfortunately Uni and Unagi nigiri were missing, I have ordered Toro (mit viel Fett, 7 euro per piece) and Chu-Toro (mit wenig Fett, 6 euro per piece). First I've been told that there is no Toro, there is only Chu-Toro. I have doubled my order of Chu-Toro. A bit later I've been told that, vise versa, there is no Chu-Toro but there is Toro only.
