"This is the best fish and chip shop I've ever been to. The fish was excellent, the sausages were delicious, and the chips were crispy and top-notch. I will definitely return when I'm in the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. You really can't beat this place. I even went back to express how wonderful the food was and to say a big thank you. I highly recommend it! Don't let the queue deter you; they are very quick and organized."

Stopped by for chips. Good selection of quality fish and chips and a range of other chippy wonders. smoked battered sausage and chips and a red cola eaten by the river. Why stop in moterway services when this is the perfect break!

Quite a good fish( lovely cod and crispy batter) and chips but for the price which I thought a little expensive they were a bit light on the chips. Afraid I'm a bit old school I remember when you couldn't carry £2+ worth of chips never mind eat them!!

Gorgeous chippie, the best in the Dumfries area according to someone in the queue. We decided to try two of Parmesans (a flattened chicken) suppers with various toppings which were amazing. A gorgeous change to the usual chippie options. Along with chessy chips and a fish supper (but no drinks) it came to £34 and we even had chips left over for a butty the next day. Definitely worth a try to see if it suits your tastes.
