"The inside of this place makes you want to curl up with a good book, have a coffee and relax for a while. We came for breakfast and both really enjoyed our dishes. My husband got the dish that had smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and some salad type dish that looked like potato salad but he couldn't figure out what it was exactly (but really liked it). The smoked salmon had a horseradish type sauce on the side that he really enjoyed. They also served a basket of bread on the side (not sure if it was included with his) with a croissant, a roll and two other types of bread. I got the sweet pancakes with bananas and maple syrup and while it wasn't what I imagined as pancakes (think more of like a Dutch baby a pancake), it was delicious and filling. My husband's dish definitely stole the show, though. We both said we would come back to try their dinner as several dishes sounded fantastic to both of us."

Ver carta

The tiny tart that I bought for €5.70 was an absolute disgrace. Dry as a bone, overly expensive and only consisted of dry shortcrust pastry with a few raspberries. No cream, no cream, nothing. As a French woman, I know this is a shame.

The slogan of the restaurant is true: The not too extensive menu allows a fresh preparation of the dishes, the restaurant is really cozy and also the one who tried very much for the well-being of the guests, but some spoiled waiters were sympathetic.

During our short stay in Hamburg we were very happy to find Moraba. The atmosphere is very welcoming and pleasant. We had a Moraba burger with sweet potatoes and truffle Mayonaise, as well as lamb chops with macaroni, baby spinache and a light gogonzola sauce. Both courses are highly recommended. We thank the waitress for a wonderful evening as she has done an excellent job for our food and drinks. Cheers! Chantal Ken from the Netherlands. Ver carta

We only had six drinks. The lemon quash with ice cream is particularly recommended. The German-wide shortage of young people leads to operational errors with new learners. I have received only the payment of money at the EC payment and only on my way home realized that the amount was twice as high as to accept. The complaint with the application for the document was initially problematic and almost annoying, but was then corrected by a trained employee without standing.

A beautiful little shop in the cannon. Small things for every taste from hearty to sweet are all there. Paninis, pancakes, toasts... one of my favorite foods! Müsli with fruit and vanilla glass is absolutely recommended. There are freshly pressed juices in different variants. There is also a changing table. All right. Crossaint with butter, honey, jam and nutella is available for 2.50€, scrambled egg is available from 3€ Note only that it is always full on weekends of 10am and therefore recommends a reservation ;

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember.The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity.The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
