"Discovered this place during a wonder around Seven Dials and it looked very cosy and delicious. We ordered numerous dishes including the Takoyaki and Sukiyaki Don. The dishes were incredibly appealing visually, but a little overpriced. The portion sizes were very generous but flavour wise, a little basic. The beef meat in the Sukiyaki Don was very tough and not as tender as you’d expect. The seaweed around the spicy tuna rolls were chewy, which makes me think that they were not fresh. In regards to the cleanliness of the restaurant, it was up to standard. Minor sticky tables but all in all, pretty clean. The atmosphere was very homey and welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive."

possibly our popular Japanese restaurant in brighton. we were just in japan, but for us it seems so authentic and reminds us of this trip. brilliant selection on the menu and always beautiful service.

Just lovely! Nice atmosphere, friendly service and amazingly tasty food. Reservations recommend, as a smallish place. We didn't have a reservation, but were happy to eat at the bar. Can't wait to go back!

pre-booked dinner last night, was greeted by very hospitable waiter. the atmosphere was beautiful, although it was a whole house last night, it did not feel chaotic or crowded. eating was very nice and I would definitely come back when I am in brighton

It was so delightful . My mother is friends with the owner and he was really lovely. We were very full and the food tasted fresh, good service and the deep fried ice cream is something everyone should experience at least once! I need to go here again soon

Haven't been for a while and the menu has more options. Food as always divine. Good value. Service excellent. Friendly, helpful . They have been advertising for staff for some time and the two servers do an excellent job but another member of staff would really help them.

Dined in as a party of 6 this past weekend at this airy modern Japanese restaurant. Enjoyed drinks, starts and mains all at a reasonable price woth good service. The Gyoza was excellent, woth a soft top and centre and crispy base, along with a sweet dipping sauce. Would definitely return.

Small Japanese restaurant in Hove, UK. The business is run by a very friendly Japanese family with a very calm energy. The place is small, with lot of natural light and a very familiar atmosphere. The sushi, maki, etc, are extremely delicious. You must try the aubergines and tofu dish, it is top notch . A highly recommended restaurant with reasonable prices for a Japanese restaurant.

pre-booked dinner here, when all known restaurants were not available in brighton. what a big decision that turned out. friendly staff with the right attention and the soothing knowledge of the menu with my allergy. lots of space in a relaxed environment and trendy neighbourhood. eating was incredible, especially the salmon hosomaki, prawn tempura, pumpkin corokke and tempura eis for which was to die. will come back 100% if next in brighton.
