The burgers were impressive. They were huge and big on flavour. There's a decent selection of beer available too.

we enjoyed eating here. great rustic location, small and cozy. opposite the theater, so more comfortable place to eat a bite before a show. service was good. eating was really good.

good selection of food, some different items, much on the teller, drinks great. had no recording of our table booking. not sure whether it is regular service or just the time we have visited, but eating waiting time was 45 minutes.

I'm sitting on this place now. I happened to come by. I usually don't leave reviews, but wow. the service is great, the pints are great and the eating. I had the w mex and I didn't enjoy a veggie burger so much since I started being a veggie.

The portions at this restaurant are very small. The pulled pork was fatty and served in chunks rather than shreds. I was surprised to be charged £1.50 for just 4 Jalapeños on top of my loaded fries. I paid £20 for loaded fries and a cocktail, which feels overpriced. Additionally, the burgers do not come with any sides, making the overall cost even higher. I do not plan on returning anytime soon. Great location with delicious food. I ordered a regular burger with house fries and pepper sauce, along with a coke. My meal came to £19. Everyone in my group enjoyed their food, but I suggest sharing fries as the burgers are quite filling. Make sure to double check your bill as discounts may not always be applied correctly. The staff seemed busy but were able to handle the crowd. I recommend booking in advance.

This restaurant was a disappointment. I paid £17 for a burger and fries, but the burger was overcooked and lacking sauce, making the meal very dry. The special sauce advertised turned out to be just plain French mustard. There are much better dining options in Sunderland, even right across the street. For a better burger experience, I would recommend going to other nearby eateries or even opting for McDonald's on the high street instead.

My husband and I booked a table here before the theatre. I’d read the reviews and was hopeful for a good meal as we come to the theatre often and are yet to find a nice restaurant. When we arrived, there’d obviously been a mix up with our table so they finally managed to find us a table. The first thing that wasn’t great is that chips are not included in burgers, which given the burgers are around £11-£15 makes the meal very expensive. Our food took 45 mins to arrive, which was disappointing as we had hoped for a relatively quick meal as it was pre-theatre When our food did arrive, the chips were cold but overcooked and greasy, and the burgers were extremely small, especially given the price...
