"RARE! What a happiness... Finally a place with spirit. A chic and simple atmosphere with a cleverly disappointed charm. A staff so connected with the places, funny but never rude, pointed but never pedaling. Refreshing. Really. So yes, it is true, there is no double glazing in some rooms. Yes it is true the place of the Forum on which the hotel has gabled (hihi is very lively. But, if a bit of noise from this vibrant heart of town is the price paid to be able to still admire splendid wood carpentry and glass of angles, all rounded (splendid room 12! , and not of hermetic carpentry in pvc so yes, we will pay. Summum of courtesy: we have breakfast for three francs six under the mythical and popular Tambourin, right next to it, but still installed on the narrow sidewalk bordering the North Pinus, which seems kindly to lend it to it. A joyous melting-pot that this place of the Forum where the Nord Pinus, although probably the most chic establishment, seems to play equal with the surrounding shops, without pretense. Still a big thank you to all those who make this place of resistance to depressing hotel uniformity:"

Very good dining experience inspired by Mexican flavors. I would have liked even more gustative madness! Correct service despite the world and the unbearable Parisians next to us tonight.

Mixing up my wine was quickly forgotten with the excellent fare. Had the poached cod and terrine. The presentation was ornate. The accompanying sauce stole the show. Small potatoes and vegetables were fine. Had the Fromage du Mas du trident honeycomb [per the bill] for a light cheese plate for dessert with some greens and grapes. The wine was average, likely the house wine. This may be a contender for the best dinner I have in the country.

We loved the place and decoration of the common parts and the room, it is a journey in time. The staff is very listening. The negative points: 1) the noise: no double glazing in the room but there are in the shower room, we hear a lot the noise outside and it is damage 2) Value for money from excessive breakfast I find 3) Restoration: on paper, the concept of ephemeral cuisine is appealing, in dishes and practice, I found this average and expensive for what it is.

Festivalier d Arles photo for a long time we hoped to realize this experience at the North Pinus hotel. It is done and in very beautiful way. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace in the morning excellent with a special mention for the Ethiopian espresso. We were delighted with dinner with the Mexican chef and these new flavours. Top. The team is at your service with elegance and precision. One without fault! The bar also for aperitif and this feeling of luxury to French

"This restaurant is part of a hotel in a very impressive 16th century building. It looks very classy. However, the night we were there, there must have been some serious problems in the kitchen (or maybe it is always like that . We started with a shared plate of charcuterie which took a long time to arrive – how long does it take to arrange the cold meats on a plate? We then waited a very, very long time for our main courses. While waiting, we saw a dispute at another table involving the maître d’ and resulting in plates going back to the kitchen. We had both ordered duck à l’orange which came with Camargue rice. The rice appeared to have been baked in the oven and was so crisp and dry that it resembled a cereal bar. The ‘orange’ was not the usual sauce, but instead was four cubes of orange that appeared to have been scorched on a grill. They added nothing to the dish. It had been suggested that we should share a side of seasonal vegetables. These turned out to be big chunks of boiled potatoes (with rice! , a boiled root vegetable and a couple of dry artichokes. We had interchanges with two servers and the maître d – all were cold and brusque. We lived in France for more than 20 years and appreciate the fact that the French like to take their time with meals, but there is a big difference between leisurely and glacially slow. Perhaps we were there on a bad night, others seem to have had a better experience."
