nice eating. beautiful environment. friendly staff. faster service. a little overpriced. cake was delicious, but smaller part. very tasty berries. nice tee. we've visited each other.

four of us visited number 44 in wet, driping, motorcycle clothing. However, we were greeted in (even if they had to get the floor to mop) and we had a beautiful coffee and exceptionally good cake. very nice caffe.

Visited Kirkby Lonsdale and called in the cafe for a coffee and a piece of cake. The cakes were delicious and also saw people ordering Crumpets and toasted teacakes which also looked good. Well worth calling in if you are visiting. Ver carta

had an acidic speck braut and cranberry toastie that was delicious. hubby had a prawn baguette he really enjoyed. good cup of lemon and ingvalues as well as a black coffee. the staff was polite and helpful, so they have 5 stars. a loan to the city.

The restaurant has a nice and cozy atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We shared several dishes with family, and they kindly divided the portions for us. The soup and cheese toasties were delightful, and the pancakes were absolutely delicious.

Had the cheese toasty and the fishless bap and chocolate brownie. Decent vegan snack menu, A variety of non dairy milks. Had almost given up on finding food in Kirby Lonsdale until I saw the vegan sign in the window. Great friendly staff, quick service, much appreciated. Ver carta

Although not a vegan restaurant, there are plenty of options for everyone. The cakes are incredible; I’ve never had better anywhere else, and they're beautifully presented as well. The two owners are extremely accommodating, and they go above and beyond to ensure a great experience. I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you, Number 44!

really nice wee caffe with a vegan menu! eating was delicious and they even boxed it for me to take away when I didn't make it all. I had a flat white with soy milk and it came with a wee house made vegan cookies also. all at a beautiful little place that was opened on Eastermonday was a bit small on the inside when they still feel a bit overwhelmed by people to kovid and they cannot see any of the cakes before ordering (which is quite unusual). the workers are friendly and will come when they speak to get their attention when it is busy. on the Pricy page for us, but perhaps the standard price around these parts

I stopped by for a quick lunch and found that they have a dedicated vegan menu. The staff was well-informed about vegan options. We ordered the cheese, tomato, and pesto toasties, which came with a side salad. When the dish arrived, the salad had a creamy dressing on it, but the waitress assured me—without me even asking—that everything, including the dressing, was vegan. This made me feel more at ease dining in a mixed-menu restaurant. The toastie was enjoyable, though I believe they used Violife cheese, so keep that in mind if you’re sensitive to its texture when melted.
