"2 stars really?? We went last Thursday afternoon to celebrate my daughter 's birthday in this restaurant. Yes, the setting is pleasant, even if you only see the sea from afar and the service is discreet and attentive. But we expected much better in terms of flavors and presentations. The stopover menu, at €100 only for lunch, was to offer us, among other things, langoustine with creamy black pudding and crispy pig 's trotters. We had ONE scallop topped with a thin slice of sausage with carrot coulis. Surprised (frankly disappointed! we asked the waiter: “the chef wanted to surprise you with the first Brest shells” (Would you have believed it? We didn’t!! As for the famous foie gras-velouté lobster soup, served in a simple cup, we found it rather disgusting. Only the appetizers and the dessert, lemon crisp, strawberries and lettuce ice cream really pleased us. As for drinks, the Beaujolais from 2020 at €70 was very good. The coffee is actually a ristretto of a few cl and costs €9. To sum up: meh , really disappointing value for money."

"We arrived very last minute for dinner on a lovely summer's evening and turned out this was a rather popular restaurant. They couldn't accommodate us at an outside table although we said we would be quick (having two young kids , so we took a table inside. Interestingly, the tables outside were still free an hour and a half later. The food was a little more expensive than other restaurants in the area and but was very good (the bread was amazing! . The downside for this place was the inflexible and at times rather cold service (the manager, it must be said, was very nice some of whom, in typical French fashion, seemed annoyed by any request you might have. It's just a shame to have the feeling that this restaurant has some monopoly on the area and for the price does not live up to the service. Great location though!"

"a great welcome, large rooms very comfortable and especially an unforgettable dinner. Indeed, the belon olive chef can perfectly master the subtle mix of Breton flavors and can sublimate the products of the sea with an incredible talent! rare thing he makes his brigade share the pleasure of the guests. Thanks also for the gwel served breakfast with great professionalism. thank you to the whole team"

"the veranda with sea view and the terrace are very good. furniture and dishes are modern. the plates are very well presented, but the menu content at 35,90€ should be irreproachable. It was not the case: too cooked (as prepared in advance and heated) and yet served warm. the breizh bouilla (apart of bouillabaisse) is not quite a copycat. The service is not careful enough, and the average reception. the soap dispenser in the toilet was empty from the beginning of the service. a restaurant where we will not return."

"......and a warm welcome. The location is stunning with the beach and setting sun making a perfect setting.Reading the other reviews we must have picked a Saturday night when the chef was out as my daughter poisson blanc was still cold in the middle (I.e straight from the freezer) and when we asked for it to be grilled properly it came back after a good session in the microwave. Not impressive from a restaurant that prides itself on seafood.My wife had the oysters and mussels both were okay but not amazing. I had the ou poisson du moment and it was a very average moment! That said my son's steak hache was amazing.All in all great location but the food left us cold."
