Obere Firstalm - Carta

It is best to come at 3.30 a.m. during winter, walk (about 75 minutes), have an early dinner, then down (about 10 minutes). Very nice outing with children.

Before Corona it has always been a highlight to come here. Now (01/2021) you have to pull up your sled yourself (no rental), but there is a tasty strengthening to go...

One of the nicest sledding expierences i have ever had! Very well prepared track. Romantic lighting at night. Very nice view. Great kitchen, good service which ended a perfect day. Ver carta

We went there this week for a Christmas diner. The view is great and the place looks nice. Sadly the food was below average. I guess this is OK for a beer but not for a proper diner.

After a long and hard walk / climbing, we finally made it here the other alms closed down. A genuine rustic mountain hut, self-service drinks and traditional dishes for everyone. Lived, but served quickly.

The food is great. Even if it is self-service. On the other hand it is extremely busy and it was hard to get a seat (winter). I think it will be less in the summer, there are places outside. It's okay. Great food... with great view. Ver carta

The Upper Firstalm is very beautiful and offers a beautiful and sunny view. The Upper Firstalm also offers a lot of food and drinks, which are very delicious. A huge playground and some deck chairs to chill. The staff is very nice and very fast. Prices are reasonable. I can only recommend a return.

Obere Firstalm is about an hours drive from Munich. This time of the year (winter) it's a great spot to hike up the hill, have a meal, and sledge down :)Although the place was packed the service was unusually friendly. Prices are as in any other biergarten: radler/beer ca €4.5, goulash soup €5.7, apple strudel €4.7.We didn't even bother looking for a table inside and chose from lots of free tables outside. View is spectacular!And after a meal we all sledged down the hill :) Good fun.

This mountain hut is situated around 90 KM from Munich, the best part is your can't drive up to this hut, you have to park your car down hill and make your way up thru the snow and it's a fairly steep climb, not recommended for the obese or heart patients, the walk is testing your endurance and will.. All that will be worthwhile infection you get on top, we had begun our climb at 8 in the evening and reached the hut by around 9.20 drenched in our sweat from the walk even in -6 and got welcomed with a warm wine drink by a wood fire, which was awesome. Their restaurant served us with our spirits and we were lucky to have deer meat.. The rooms are cosy, twin share or 4 people share.. Don't expe... Ver carta
