Well this place was a bit specialA seafood joint with a real hint (actually a full on hoof) of class through their entire operation.

It's hard to pinpoint with some restaurants why they don't hit the spotSome, it's alarmingly obvious - the service is surly and the food is poor.

great eating, quiet, private, but expensive. had the lobster thermidor who was amazing and the woman had fish. I ordered better: we were 180 pfunds for 3 courses and drinks. Ver carta

almost had a fear when the recipeist could not find our reservation. but the food and the service were fully advertised and so good. this is a place that we will certainly visit again for fresh seafood and excellent meals.

Decent experience. My main was on par with other seafood restaurants. Naturally flavourful, nothing more and nothing less. Presentation of dishes also acceptably standard. Batter and fry somewhat disappointing by comparison. Lighting somewhat darker than usual, alright for dining, not that great for appreciating the beautiful red colour of the lobster I was to consume.

*The fruits of the ocean was outstanding. Really outstanding. There is a difference in the online prices and the prices on site.... The fish quality is really great through, I do wish they were slightly more adventurous with their spices The salt and pepper tempura was lacking in both salt and pepper in a weirdly heavy batter. If you're a fan of seafood, I highly recommend this restaurant. We ordered the cold seafood platter and were blown away by the generous portion size and variety. The dishes were prepared perfectly and tasted delicious. The staff was excellent and the atmosphere was fabulous. We also enjoyed a few bottles of Verde wine which paired wonderfully with the food. Overall, we had an amazing dining experience and will definitely return if we find ourselves in Edinburgh again.

Came here for dinner and it did not disappoint. The restaurant was quite easy to find despite having scaffolding around the building. We ordered the salt and pepper squid tempura, chips and lobster thermidor. The squid was delicious, very nice batter and the dipping sauce matched it perfectly. It was my first time eating lobster thermidor, the lobster itself was cooked perfectly and the flavouring was on point. I wanted more! The chips were nice but for the price I would have expected more chips and not 5. The menu prices are also very different in the restaurant, the lobster is £36 as opposed to £30 on the website. Really nice dining experience and would come again

After reading the reviews about odine, I was a little skeptical to come over lunch to celebrate my man's birthday. I shouldn't have been worried because it was a nice lunch! we were received and shown on our table and everything was very fast, efficient and as expected. the selection of the food was good and when our appetizers arrived, they were delicious, although one of them 2 scallops) was quite a small part of the price! our main course was also delicious, healed and tartaric acid.) the service was friendly and overall we had a good time. is it expensive for what they get? yes, but the ambiente is good and for a special occasion, I would say it is probably one of the top restaurants we...
