Great pub with fantastic ambiance and excellent service both indoors and outdoors.

Food is always great... it's in a lovely location. Staff are friendly. Choice of beers isn't my favorite but hey ho.

First visit here for Sunday roast. It was absolutely delicious, loads of roast meat and plenty of vegetables . Will definitely be returning.

Busy, friendly pub right by the canal what more could you want. Sadly the beer garden is sodden at the moment but if this rain ever stops it will be fine.

I ordered a delicious classic beef burger with perfectly seasoned chips. The atmosphere was lively and the service was fantastic. I highly recommend this pub.

I was impressed with the dining experience at The Onslow Arms. Generous portions, friendly and helpful service and cozy atmosphere, it was a lovely place to rest and be fed after the canal boat trip.

Always love coming here after walking along the canal for a drink and a bite to eat. Set right by the canal it's very relaxing when the weather is good. Lots of tables and chairs outside. The food is very good and staff helpful. Would definitely recommend

three of us had booked on Saturday 21 May 2022 for lunch. we received our drinks in order, but got none of the food we ordered, despite three memories, resulting promise and a waiting period of 45 minutes. the commands were not complicated three baguettes. with cold fillings and a sharing part of the Cheesy chips. at the end we left and paid for the drinks.

The restaurant was decent, but the pub atmosphere felt worn out. The menu was not very exciting, and the burger and chips were definitely overpriced at £16 considering the portion size. The presentation was lacking, with the burger looking lonely on the plate. The patty was tasty but let down by cold lettuce, which seemed to have come straight out of the fridge. I initially thought the patty was undercooked, but it was actually just the cold ingredients in the burger. I realized later that I was charged a service charge even though I ordered at the bar and paid upfront. The total bill came to £42 for a burger and chips, ribs and chips, a pint of orange and lemonade, and a pint of tap water.
