"First time of going after reading some reviews and we were glad that we did. Very friendly staff and great pub atmosphere. Sunday Carvery was just wonderful,I had a little of each meat my partner the beef and ham. Everything just perfect for us.Super tasty cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes just like home and all the meats succulent. Plenty of everything ,great place to be. Thanks to all for a great meal"

The staff at this restaurant was very welcoming and provided excellent service at affordable prices. They were accommodating to our children and attentive throughout our meal. Ver carta

The pub was great. I had a couple of drinks there which were reasonably priced. I would definitely return if I found myself in the area again. The bar staff was friendly and overall, it's definitely worth a visit.

We are disappointed. After asking if they had a menu, the waiter asked what we would like and the kitchen was closed (it was five in the afternoon). We chose an alcoholic drink and after presenting ID and ten minutes he declared that he could not accept it (for reasons unknown to us). We do not recommend.

"we have just returned from an excellent meal in the restaurant in caerwylan hotel. we booked it on the basis of tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. our eating was absolutely first advice. we would recommend the mango Prawn court and the terrine. as start the fish and the lamb main courses and the panna cotta as dessert; we would be very surprised if the other courts in the offer were not equally good. service was also very good. all employees were pleasant and efficient. we had coffee in the lounge with a fantastic view of the sea. it was our first day in criccieth so we can't compare it with other restaurants in the city, but it was a great start to our short high season in wales."

"this was our third visit to the restaurant criccieth and it was not disappointed. we had a three-day dinner and were blown off by the fresh and the diners. the personal was super friendly and would highly recommend to eat here. the drunks were particularly good. also very good with food allergies, as I suffer from a gluten and soy allergy. worth visiting, even if it's a drink."

"We arrived early, so maybe that’s why we had to wait a while before we were asked for our order. It certainly wasn’t VERY busy. I ordered the fish cake as a starter, which was quite large and well presented. Perhaps could have done with a touch more seasoning to really bring out the flavours. My mains was the lamb, which was superb, possibly the best I’ve ever had, and came with plenty of veg. Husband had the pasta with mushrooms. I’d warned him that it might be a smallish plate, and he could be left feeling hungry, but how wrong was I. He had to leave some as he was full. Puds were good, and the wine was good value. Total bill was reasonable, and we left feeling we had had a great quality meal for a fair price. I only wish we had such a good restaurant near where we live. Well done, Poachers!"

"The cafe inside is lovely. The waiting staff are friendly and efficient, always with a welcoming smile. I find it such a shame that no effort has been made with the flower pots outside, they contained only weeds! All of Criccieth, even the railway station, looks absolutely beautiful with flowers and hanging baskets everywhere, so why doesn’t the Blue Cafe at least put a few flowers in the pots, they do let themselves down with this, it really wouldn’t take much effort. Otherwise love this cafe."

"Lovely little pub in cricceth North Wales with a lovely atmosphere and the food was nice and filling after a walk on the beach. Tried the roast dinner and it was decent, felt the gravy was out of a tub, would have topped the meal off lovely with lovely a nice meat juice gravy. Kids ate southern fried chickens and beef burgers and had no complaints. Also the kids lasagne was nice with a Herby flavour. Sprouts were rock hard though and stuffing couldn't had a bit longer in the oven to give it a crispier edge. Would recommend and will go back .
