Over the years I have travelled Greece extensively and to my surprise the best souvlaki was just round the corner at papa pittas! #comeonthegulls.

I stayed here on the way back from the picturehouse and had a delicious souvlaki pitta generously filled with sheftalies and served with fresh chopped salate. quality food great value. recommended! Ver carta

came first time in a time in new unity and one of the biggest improvements is the new kitchen. such amazing food, had not really much cypriot before and so glad I now! such a choice with vegan and veggie as well,...will recommend it!

Honestly, one of the best souvlaki’s I have had in a while; strong flavours matched with fresh veg and garnish, a touch of lemon and some brill chilli sauce on the side. Tried to find something wrong with it, and I really couldn’t find anything;...five out of five for definite.

Popped in on Friday afternoon and wow. Had a great selection and everything was so tasty. The chips are to die for, the kebab (this is how every kebab should be) felt like a bargain for the amount you get. Everything was so fresh. Papa Pitta is now based in the newly opened Free Haus pub. The food is delicious, with a selection of souvlaki to choose from and vegetarian and vegan options too, all served in pitta with salad, chilli sauce and tzaziki. There are side dishes to...order I recommend the beetroot salad and the delicious fried potatoes. The open kitchen is connected to the bar area, so you can see the food being produced. I recommend a visit, the food is great and you’ll get a warm welcome from both the Papa Pitta crew and the Free Haus staff.

We’ve been to Papa Pitta twice now, really enjoyed it both times. Great Souvlaki, pillowy Cypriot pitta and absolutely yummy , crisp Chips plus salads and dips and more. There are great gluten free options plus veggie and vegan options too. A small but perfect...menu either for dinner or for snacks with a drink. Lots of care taken over the food and cooked to order. Papa Pitta himself is in the kitchen and serving food, whole experience is super friendly . In nice , newly refurbished pub with lots of special beers and ciders too. Really good value food. Finally! I no longer have to wait till I go to Cyprus on holiday to visit family or family weddings in order to have a decent delicious proper' Cypriot Souvlaki! I went last Friday for the first time and was back in there the next...evening and now arranging my next friends catch up in there.. the best souvlaki in Brighton hands down.. but not only that, the attention to detail and service,I noticed the chef and the team all come out to see if everyone is enjoying their food.. the passion in which the Chef talked about the spices to my friend who had the mix Souvlaki (Halloumi and Vegan) was just adorable.
