Fantastic food and customer service. They even sell fresh pasta to take home. While on my vacation to Nice I drove to the closest Italian city and this is the number one restaurant in town. I highly recommend! Ver carta

After a day in Nice and Monaco we decided on a run for the border in search of the best Italian food we could find. Pasta e Basta was amazing, Very fresh pasta with a wide array of sauces. Top shelf Tiramisu also. Burrata was also excellent. Only hiccup was bread served in bags...not the best but minor infraction for a great meal. Staff was also excellent!

Not bad. very disappointed with the pasta with the palourdes (a large number of empty, broken hulls that frightened him! . the dishes do not all arrive at the same time for each guest. a little lost in dishes/tables. The rest of the pasta was good. Many different servers for a table and we were forgotten for the dessert card. It's a lot of apartments. damage

Great service and homemade pasta in huge portions. My boyfriend said it was the best pasta he's ever had in his life. We sat near an interesting 79 year old Austrian man who was dining alone, and we had an enjoyable conversation about the history of Europe. The waitress brought us complimentary aperitifs on the house. The bill was a nice surprise great value for a lovely meal and service. Ver carta

Too bad, at the 2nd service of 13:45, we waited over 25 minutes to finally order. Then the waitress totally ignored us by serving the last arrival. Finally, it was the boss who took our order and after 45 minutes we were finally able to eat. So surprise, the restaurant had no bread, never seen. We spent 1 h 45 for a dish and a dessert. A waitress who spends his time blowing, overflowing. I advise him to change his profession. The dishes are excellent and the value ratio is very correct, what sadness to eat in such an atmosphere.

Stopped in Ventimiglia over the summer during a quick day trip to Monaco from Nice and have to write a long-overdue review for this place because it was the highlight of my visit. The strozzapreti with shrimp and lemon sauce is absolutely to die for!! I still dream about it sometimes... generous portions of fresh prawn in a light, creamy and zesty lemon sauce that makes you wanna just drink it up Creme brûlée was overcooked however; while I would recommend any of their entrees, I can't say the same for their desserts, as we tried multiple and they were mostly subpar.

I wasn't initially keen on visiting Ventimiglia for the day, but Pasta e Basta truly made our visit unforgettable. We arrived just 10 minutes before closing time, unaware that all the restaurants closed at 3 and reopened for dinner. After a long trek from the train station and feeling hangryyyy, the hostess graciously accommodated us and swiftly took our order. She was fantastic, offering excellent suggestions and recommending their in house pastas, which honestly exceeded all of our expectations. I'd return just to see her again. The only thing we wished we had known beforehand was the generous portion sizes, as we each ordered our own pasta dishes, but we were excited to eat leftovers late... Ver carta
