"Nous avons passé un excellent déjeuner le 1 aout au Café de Floris.Le nouveau concept Bistronomique nous a séduit et même enchanté : le menu gourmand à 55.- était excellent de l’entrée au dessert et les portions tout à fait correcte (nous avions une appréhension dû à commentaires qui laissait entendre de petites portions). Excellent vitello tonnano (peu de mayonnaise), suivi d'un filet de Féra du lac ou d’un onglet parfaitement cuit et très bien présenté, dessert fut également excellentLa terrasse reste superbe et le fait qu’il n’y ait pas de nappes mais de simple sous de table en papier va avec le concept et nous préférons manger de la qualité à des prix abordable…Service rapide et professionnel. Même le vin au verre étaient excellent et d’un prix très correcte.En conclusion, cette reconversion en bistronomie est une vraie réussite et vaut la peine d’être découverte – nous reviendrons avec plaisir !"

"Great food and truly authentic Vietnamese cuisine with reasonable price. Very friendly husband and wife owners. We had a good chat with the owners while eating dinner there. It is about 6.5 miles from Geneva's train station, so we took SL4 train to Pont Ceard then walked about 500m to the restaurant in a relatively quiet neighborhood."

"This is a typical French country restaurant in the simultaneously picturesque and mundane Versoix, with verdant forests and 1960s urban concrete buildings nestled cheek by jowl.Don't expect vegetarian, organic or healthy fare. It's rich and heavy on the meats, particularly wild game, heavy on fats; heart attacks waiting to happen. When I asked what vegetarian options existed, the waiter actually snorted, and could not refrain from making jokes about a three course salad meal. While the ingredients were quite available, it took prolonged negotiations to get vegetarian fare.Perhaps it is particularly unusual to get such a request and within the milieu, possibly socially unacceptable. The sense I got was that the customers were expected to genuflect at the chefs creations, which He deigned to allow mere mortals to savor. However, the pumpkin soup, minus the normal wild boar garnish, was quite good, though very creamy.The mixed vegetable plate was more than edible, though again, very rich, heavy on the butter. Butter is possibly considered one of the basic food groups in this neck of the woods. Not my cup of tea, to mangle a metaphor."

"Vor kurzem kamen meine Freunde und ich in dieses Restaurant. Wir haben versucht, eine schnelle (ish) Mahlzeit zu sich zu nehmen. Wir saßen weit weg vom Rest der Kunden in einem separaten, leeren Raum, der sich direkt neben dem Buffettisch befand. Zwei verschiedene Kellnerinnen kamen, um uns zu bedienen, eine bestand darauf, dass wir das Buffet nehmen. Als wir dies ablehnten, holte sie die Speisekarten, kehrte aber zurück und fragte uns, ob wir das Buffet wollten. Die Kellnerin benahm sich wie kleine Kinder, höchstwahrscheinlich, weil wir keine Erwachsenen sind. Als wir bestellten, bekamen wir einen Teller mit verschiedenen verschiedenen Sushi-Stücken, die alle als Reste vom Buffet zu sein schienen. Die Kellnerin kam wiederholt zu unserem Tisch, um zu fragen, ob wir mehr Reste vom Buffet wünschen, was eine freundliche Geste ist (nehme ich an), jedoch nach mehrmaliger Verwendung ganz unnötig wurde. Das Essen, das wir bestellt hatten, war nicht sehr gut, zum Beispiel war das Sortiment an gedünsteten Knödeln, die ich bestellt hatte, in einer kleinen Ölpfütze, und der Teig die Umhüllung, die die Füllung umgab, war sehr nass und brach ab, sobald ich ihn berührte. Für den Preis des Essens war die Qualität nicht besonders gut."
