"Where else to eat fish other than in a fish restaurant? They have a chilled cabinet with a selection of whole fish lying on a bed of ice, you choose the fish you want and they cook it to perfection. However fish isn’t cheap and...neither is the restaurant generally in my opinion. We had courses including a bottle of wine and a coffee and paid I can’t fault the service, they have more than enough staff, our wine glasses were topped up by the waiters. The wine bottle wasn’t left on the table which is good, as they are quite small tables. With wine and water glasses and plates it is full. Starter we had prawns, for and Tuna tartan, which was melt in the mouth. The two fish were served as fillets, I.e. without heads, at our request. My cheese board came without crackers or bread which I thought was a bit odd. I’d go again, but not for a while, primarily as fish itself is expensive compared to a steak for example, and I could eat out at a steak restaurant of similar quality for half to two thirds of the cost."

it was recommended to visit this small local restaurant in a hotel sofitel, did not regret it at all. very “warm” cozy interieur, attentive and warm, inviting waiters offered the usual menu and a daily menu on a large portable table. I ordered: bluefin tuna. . Ver carta

After so many raving reviews what a disappointment. I was later told that it is better to stick to the starters and avoid the main dishes. Had I known before. We had turbot to share as one of two mains. It came in a salt...crust which we had not ordered. The fish was dry and tasteless and had a feeling of déjà vu. Possibly left over from the day before. The second main was crayfish which was tasteless and hard. If a restaurant carries a reference to fish it better know how to prepare fish. I would send the cook to Italy to learn. Never again!

Honestly an amazing find for us on Christmas Eve after mass at nearby Theatine Church. We walked in just happy to find something open and left having enjoyed one of the best meals of our trip. First, the service. Frédérique (Freddy) was an awesome waitress,...helping us pick out the perfect meals for our family of The rest of the waitstaff was also such fun, great personalities and humor. The food was fantastic. Fresh fish and pasta each perfect. Even the “kids meal” that our year old ordered was hand-pulled pasta suitable for an adult. We had such a great time, we only wish we lived nearby so we could be regulars. Merry Christmas!
