"Great atmosphere and great service (minus wine understanding). The issue we had here was expectations and so maybe the issue is ours alone. We've been to Michelin rated restaurants (ranging from a mention to 3 stars). The food at Forma was very good, but just not at the level similar to previous rated restaurants we've been to before. That being said, the bill was 1/5 what we have paid before (1/15 in the case of Alinea) although it did cost $5k to get to Italy). Everything we had was with truffles and our expectation was the normal bold and delicious black/white truffle flavor. In this case they were present, there was A LOT of them, but that distinctive flavor was not there. It's likely that there's a difference between what we're used to and what this was and we'll accept that as immaturity. Nonetheless, I would recommend Forma, just with minor reservations (don't ask for wine advice)"

"Francesco and his staff were very pleasant, made great menu recommendations. We were not disappointed with our choices and would definitely return. Out of all the dishes we tried the steamed mussels appetizer and cheesecake dessert were the best. The portion sizes are huge! So plan to share when you go."

"Dicono che mangi del buon pesce a Civitavecchia. Qui, invece, si mangia pesce eccellente, fresco e combinato in piatti mozzafiato! Ero letteralmente eccitato dalle combinazioni di ingredienti nel piatto. Verdura, verdura e pesce vengono combinati, cotti e presentati in modo elegante, innovativo e succulente. L'antipasto caldo-fred è il loro biglietto da visita e il riconoscimento. Un piatto pieno di piccoli gusti, quasi finger-food che stuzzica il palato e apre la fame. Spesso cambia grazie all'immaginazione dello chef e mi sorprende ogni volta. Bel contorno salse. I primi sono tutti invitanti e il sapore fortemente riconoscibile. Questa è una garanzia che le materie prime siano fresche. Secondi di pesce in linea con il resto del menu. In realtà, non ci sono parole. Personale cordiale, attento al cliente e presente per qualsiasi esigenza. Musica di fondo da accompagnare, in un ambiente rustico ma rilassante. Vino eccellente e carta amara difficilmente disponibile altrove. Torno spesso. Consigliato!"

"We went with the family to celebrate a birthday. The idea of fish on December 27 did not excite many but arrived in this place we immediately found the right feeling of seeing the dishes that served at the other tables. Sergio (the person who served us at the table) took great care of the various personal requests on dishes and especially on wines. Interesting loyalty card initiative. The dishes, from appetizer to dessert, were all prepared impeccably. All very well and I can also say that the value of money is very high. Ask for the dishes out of the menu in any case advice antipasto delfino and imperial linguine. We'll be back!"

"Peccato che ci sono solo 5 stelle, ve ne sarei molte si più.. per me è tutto perfetto!!! Locale chic, personale giovane, gentile e preparato. Piatti abbondanti e molto onesti e vi spiego anche cosa intendo: la scorsa estate sono venuta qui per caso e abbiamo ordinato un tagliere e un fritto.. oggi ci sono ritornata, a distanza di diversi mesi, oggi ho ordinato 2 taglieri e 2 fritti e qui c'è l'onestà.. in quanto erano veramente 2 taglieri!!!! Non come molti fanno un tagliere un po' più abbondante, cercando di risparmiare! No no, sono proprio due!! E vi ringrazio per questo, ormai ci avete conquistato, verrò tutte le volte che posso! Detto ciò i fritti sono buonissimi, il tagliere 34 è composto da salumi e formaggi sfiziosi e di qualità, vista mare, tavoli all'interno e fuori in una bellissima terrazza.. cosa vuoi di più?! Prenota sia per un aperitivo che per i pasti principali"
