"Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker und daran gibt es gar nichts zu meckern! Wir hatten einige Gerichte von der Tageskarte und für die Kinder Spätzle mit Soße. Auch die Location an sich ist nett und punktet mit einem kleinen Spielplatz für Kinder. Leider lässt der Service der uns zugeordneten Mitarbeiterin (eine Dame mit schrägem einseitigem Zopf) sehr zu wünschen übrig, weshalb wir leider auch ohne Trinkgeld gingen. Weder ein Lächeln, noch der höfliche Smalltalk oder ein „Auf Wiedersehen“ brachte diese Dame über ihre Lippen. Wir fragen uns ob es an den 4 Kindern lag, welche sich jedoch anstandslos benommen haben da wir häufig essen gehen und sie sich daher auch in einem Restaurant zu verhalten wissen. Jedenfalls war die Bedienung seit der ersten Minute an sehr unterkühlt weshalb wir leider 2 Sterne abziehen müssen und auch eine Bewertung da lassen. Schade… denn solche Mitarbeiter vermiesen leider dem Koch das Geschäft und uns das Mittagessen! Muss nicht sein… es gibt genug Restaurants mit nettem Service in Friedrichshafen und Umgebung! Schade! Am Geschmack lag es nämlich wirklich nicht."

"Eating was really delicious. unfortunately we sat at the rande of a very long high table with 3 other couples. the table was not really well connected and thus wombled at any movement of the other guests. my man would like to have two angles straight into the wall: otherwise we liked it well."

"We visited this place last year enjoyed excellent Pizzas, with prompt service, at a time when the resort was extremely busy our Hotel had messed up on dinner reservations. This year a very different story. Initially we were plagued by tables of chain...smokers who seemed to use tobacco products to settle their stomachs between courses. (It's about time Germany adopted a smoking ban where food is being consumed) Then our Pizza Bread starter failed to materialise they tried to serve mains first. Once corrected, we found we had made a big mistake. The PB was OK, but for mains we ordered Spag Bol Lasagne. Both were terrible. The SB/Ragu sauce seemed like a cheap jar brew, heavily laced with tomato puree little else. The Lasagne was salty, without cheese sauce, but intead a filling of chopped york ham covered with some local grated cheese that was completely inappropriate. Even allowing for the arguement that these meals might suit local tastes, which we doubt, neither were of restaurant quality, Then to add insult, when the still full plates were asked to be cleared we complained, we were made to feel it was our fault that their food was poor. The waiters made a ridiculous scene the whole experience was quite frankly shameful then. to cap it all, full payment was demanded. There was no sign of any management involvement or apology. Anyway, a lesson learned; we shall never return.We advise others who insist they want an Italian meal to stick strictly to the Pizza Menu. Better still, go elsewhere."

"we have been eating in the seaview for many years when we are at the lower sea. so also on Sunday of the last week. we have. card of the grill ordered and got secrets, but without telling us that. only on request also added by the afterbarin that instead of felchen kretzer are served. the 3 small particles were sworn dry and in tomato sauce. price almost 22, €, salat 6,90 €, also the wine was too expensive. the prices in the sea view increased by 1/3, and the quality decreased significantly. the price is not true. what has become of the sea view? we were very disappointed and can no longer recommend this restaurant."

"Auf einer längeren Reise bin ich auf der B 31 entlang des Bodensees unterwegs gewesen und durch Hagnau gekommen. Bei der Suche nach einem Restaurant möglichst nah am Weg habe ich die Keltenschenke gefunden (nur ca. 300 m abseits der Hauptstraße/B 31). Schon der erste Eindruck war sehr positiv, der Inhaber begrüßte mich gleich am Eingang sehr freundlich, das Lokal selbst ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Ich wurde sofort bedient, das bestellte Gericht war fachgerecht zubereitet, kam sehr schnell und war von der Qualität ausgezeichnet. Der gesamte Service war außerordentlich schnell, freundlich und zu keinem Zeitpunkt aufdringlich – eine Bestleistung. Für mich ist deswegen die Keltenschenke eine 1a-Empfehlung direkt am Wegesrand, wenn man auf der B 31 entlang des Bodensees unterwegs ist."
