I really do admire the continuous caring by the chief hostess and waitresses to meet the expectations and acquire guests' satisfaction. By the way, don’t be afraid to order something other than pizza because whatever you order will be on point nevertheless their pizza still above all. I used to come here a lot when I lived in Hamburg because it was simply the best pizza in town. I just went back today while in town for a visit and it’s still the best pizza!

Al volo is a place for the quick meal that does have the real Italian taste to it. The pizzas are great. Also other dishes are worth a try, but don't expect any exceptional. As the name says: it is food Al Volo (on the...fly)

Hamburg has many Great Italian Restaurants.. Al Volo is our local favourite. It has a modern casual atmosphere. they don't take bookings- only for large groups. Pizza is just superb as are the platter starters and the risotto balls. Ver carta

We visited the restaurant and it was great. The pizza was fantastic and it us not the standard stuff you get. Or have you ever hat a pizza banana with Gorgonzola? The menu is not to small or to long. A good mix. A special...is the 50cm pizza for a 2-3 people.
