"first of all, the yellow house impresses with its beautiful outside area with views of the eltviller castle and the surrounding weinberge. the service staff is extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. also children are welcome and get a pretty jewellery at the end. the ambiente is very good. Unfortunately, eating has left more and more in the past few years, so that we decided this year not to go there anymore. already last summer, it is clear that the quality of meat became worse, the dishes smaller....not what you can remember after a few weeks in the sense of: that was particularly delicious, as we go again. the worst came in winter 2016: an absolutely and completely inviolable escape. the meat is already slightly gummed and so queer and bone-hard that I had to leave it after a bite. the pieces of meat of the known were equally inedible. Conclusion: in summer quite ok, in winter you best leave the fingers of it (deficient)"

"steins traube is a restaurant that can be classified in the direction of a star restaurant, it is clear that when they learn what is known cooking has learned. there are various possibilities to sit. either you enter the beautifully designed courtyard, or you are comfortable in the noble interieur. the personal is attentive, pleasant, white about the dishes and like to take on request changes to the constellations. the menu is, as is usual with many more noble retauranten, not particularly extensive, but offers many culinary dishes and invites to wonder when they notice the various combinations of the ingredients. at my last visit I had ordered a menu and enjoyed a large, perfectly assembled salad, with a refined spicy sosse. the main course consisted of fresh, self-made juicy sacks, filled with salmon, various raups and inlays, as well as sauces made available and decorated, so that besides the palate that caused the distribution of very many bliss hormones, which was also enthusiastic. the dessert was a creation of various sorbets and some, partly exotic fruits. but not only the foods brought me into an almost euphoric condition (no, it was not included euphorizing; but also all those who had eaten with me on a table were very satisfied. all this had its price, so the money after eating really felt much easier. However, quality as always has a price where this is always reasonable here! tipp: who wants to eat in stones should at best reserve a table."

"Eine einzige Katastrophe. Wir waren mit einem Herren die einzigen Gäste. Es war bitterkalt im Restaurant, so dass wir unsere dicken Jacken anlassen mussten. Getränke kamen zügig, waren allerdings teilweise zu warm. Wir bestellten zweit Pizzas. Diese waren nach 50 min immer noch nicht da. Auf unserer Reklamation wurde uns gesagt, es hätte eine größere Bestellung gegeben. Das konnten wir kaum glauben, da in der Küche absolute Stille herrschte. Die Bedienung telefonierte die ganze Zeit privat und hatte gar keine Lust auf uns. Nach einer Stunde kam dann das Essen! War okay aber auch nicht mehr. Wie das Lokal zu dem Namen „Elegant“ gekommen ist, verstehe ich nicht. Plastiktischdecken, abgenutzte Möbel, laute Musik, Plastikblumen … Nie wieder!"

"yesterday, I had the luck to be invited to the birthday of my friend in this great restaurant and I must say I am thrilled! from Luxembourg I am used to serving most restaurants a good and qualitatiw high quality food, but unfortunately I have been taught more often in Germany a better one. what is partly survived and praised here is and remains a puzzle. the population seems to me in part like a müllschlucker, so I cannot understand the bad reviews here either. At the waiting time: we were eating about 3 hours and only after 1 hour had the "Amuse-bouche". because we brought a lot of time, it has disturbed us a little, because eating was also equivalent good at the waiting time and everything was fresh à la minute prepared! the waiter even formally apologised to us and explained why it came to this long waiting period.Zum Service:1 with stars! especially, I appreciate the oberkellner, characterized for me south-western friendliness. the weeping was top and I found it was a star hour of the evening when he freshly prepared my saltimboca alla romana on the outside terrace and explained everything step by step. To eat:Very good from taste, and I must say as a point of criticism that you could a little less salt. but I am also aware that this is all "affaire de goût" and I have met many people here during my studies, who prefer to eat strongly salted, so I don't care about the restaurant. you react to the desire of the clientele. I guess that if I had said something, you would also have responded to my request. I also found that you can choose the supplement separately to the main course and you cannot choose everything as a supplement. so a certain originality and a certain taste culture are preserved.Portion size:So the portions are large. especially the bruscetta on pizzabrot. for next time, I've just made a decision to choose one more thing, because it was too much for me. more than enough you will be sure.Ambiente:Man has brought a piece of italien mach mainz. I think that's what it says. which has particularly amazed me, was the fact that no scums have appeared in the dawn. especially great I found the glass window in the interior in the direction of the wine cellar:)Price:As a Luxembourger we know this price culture, so it was a normal price for us with almost 50€ p.P with wine, water, appetizer, main course and dessert.Facity:The "il mondo" is highly recommended and we will surely see again or more paints in this great."

"the weinpump is a typical Rheingauer weinlocal from the device. But it seems to me that there is much more effort in terms of maintenance, decoration and cleanliness than in competition. at least, therefore, in the weinpump, a feeling of well-being and almost a feeling of holiday occurred that so far did not arise in the other localities known to me. this was certainly also the sympathetic, fleeting service. and: the menu is in a positive sense manageable, it is offered more ground-based dishes, but with that something is brought to the table. beautifully dressed, fresh and very tasty. we have fed up and felt very well so we will soon return to the weinpump."
