"This is a very traditional, rustic bavarian restaurant which offers several vegan options in their standard menu. In the summertime you can also enjoy dining in the beergarden. The staff seems well trained on the definition of vegan. They offer different options for starters (such as a nice big salad with mushrooms) and mains such as Thai curry, a Burger and a pasta dish. The pizza bread is also very recommendable (and a big portion if ordered as a side for the salad). The only drawback is that there are no vegan dessert options. This has not been a problem for me so far as the main meals are very plentiful and filling. Please note that this a is very popular place, and while they are open 7 days a week, make sure to make a reservation for popular dining times (such as weekends) as there is a chance to be turned away if restaurant is fully booked."

"the restaurant is located on a light hill with a beautiful view into the valley and on the mountain in the background. we sat at sunshine and 20 degrees on the terrace and were immediately served friendly. our 3 year old daughter liked the slide that is attached directly to the terrace. 2-3 other children also played there and so all kids were busy, but without disturbing the other guests. the carving was very delicate and crispy. there were thin slices of tortoise crispy baked. Just delicious. also the cakes can be seen. all at one like we found very cheap price. who is in the opposite should not miss the burgcafe. Must-have in allgäu!"

"Beim Gasthof Krone handelt es sich um einen familiengeführten Traditionsgasthof in der Ortsmitte nahe der Kirche mit Terrasse im Eingangsbereich. Es gibt einige Parkplätze vor und seitlich des Gebäudes, aber besser, man parkt schon am Ortsanfang auf einem größeren Parkplatz und geht die paar Meter zum Wirtshaus zu Fuss. Im Gasthof gibt es mehrere Stuben, wo gut Geburtstage o. andere Fam.feiern stattfinden können, das Ambiente der Wirtsstuben ist sehr gepflegt, die Einrichtung im Allgäuer Stil stets stehen frische Blumen auf den hübsch eingedeckten Tischen. Ein überaus freundlicher, man kann schon sagen, herzlicher Service sorgt dafür, dass alle Wünsche der Gäste erfüllt werden. Für die regional und saisonal ausgerichtete Küche müssen ebenso 5 Sterne vergeben werden. Hier wird bei einem vernünftigen Preis Leistungs Verhältnis noch frisch gekocht und alle Gerichte, die ich bisher hier gegessen habe, schmeckten wunderbar! Sehr zu empfehlen sind das Hirschschnitzel bzw. der Wildschweinbraten mit Preiselbeeren, Pfifferlingsrahmsoße und Spätzle Salatteller. Aber es gibt auch leckere vegetarische Gerichte! Wir sind froh, dass es solche Gasthäuser noch gibt und kommen wieder!"

"The Gasthof Waldhäusle in the Waltenhofen Helen district is almost in the middle of the forest, as the name suggests. Pleasant parking spaces directly at the inn invite guests from close and far to spend a cozy time in the large beer garden with adjacent playground or in one of the host rooms and let them go well. A big party stadium can be rented for weddings or celebrations. There are regional and seasonal freshly prepared dishes on the menu, including vegetarians. After a slaughter of Allgäu cattle or pig, you will also find on the map dishes such as tongue with roast potatoes, cautions or the like, which you hardly get differently. The price-performance ratio is good and the portion sizes enjoy hungry guests. Great praise for the entire kitchen staff for the fact that food is always very good and that despite the whole house today so fleeting on a rainy Sunday. Extra praise for excellent roast potatoes, great supplement salads and my very good beef goulash with semmelknödeln. The other dishes at the table were also good. The entire service staff deserves an additional star, because despite the difficult conditions (Koronapads), the order was very friendly and fast received and served. If you live here in the area or make holiday, you have to go back to the Waldhäusle! There are also excellent, homemade cakes and a visit to the Waldhäusle can easily be combined with a hike or a bike ride!"

"The inn is located from Waltenhofen and B19 coming, Exit Niedersonthofen, right on the road at an angle to Lake Niedersonthofen. In front of the building deck chairs invite to sunbathe, there is a winter garden building on the old building. Standing in front of the building it is not easy to find the entrance between all the decoration objects. The interior is divided into several smaller guest rooms, all furnished with lots of wood in rustic style. We ate here at lunch for three. The service was very friendly and flotted and repeatedly asked about our or other wishes, or whether everything is okay, even when we had the food already. The menu offers good bourgeois, regional cuisine and a burger card. The price performance ratio is very decent and few vegetarian dishes are also offered. A great praise the kitchen deserves the food has tasted very well. I can bake the self-made mouthbags with cheese and with potato cucumber salad I have long not eaten such good spicy mouthbags!"
