Always worth a visit We were from the Saarland to visit and Saturday morning to the White Sausage to eat.

Definitely the best cheese from all over the area (also recommend the rest of the food very much. Super child-friendly: games corner, crayons and even toilet pads in both toilets. Top! Ver carta

The food is excellent. The cellar was very friendly and accommodating despite a full restaurant. We felt very comfortable and come back soon. It is recommended to reserve a table in advance.

Wir saßen draußen im Wintergarten . Der Service war super und auch das Essen war lecker. Das Ambiente empfand ich als etwas seltsam. Dass es am Eingang auch Kühlschränke mit Getränken und allerlei Schnickschnack zu kaufen gibt, passt irgendwie nicht zum sonstigen Ambiente des Hauses. Service: 5

We were eating today 03.01.24 at the Landgasthof Sonne. We immediately noticed how child-friendly this inn is. You only see that very rarely. Ich durfte hier eine wunderschöne Hochzeit begleiten. Ich wurde super freundlich aufgenommen. Das Essen war hervorragend und auf höchstem Niveau. Besser geht es nicht. The inn is located from Waltenhofen and B19 coming, Exit Niedersonthofen, right on the road at an angle to Lake Niedersonthofen. In front of the building deck chairs invite to sunbathe, there is a winter garden building on the old building. Standing in front of the building it is not easy to find the entrance between all the decoration objects. The interior is divided into several smaller guest rooms, all furnished with lots of wood in rustic style. We ate here at lunch for three. The service was very friendly and flotted and repeatedly asked about our or other wishes, or whether everything is okay, even when we had the food already.
