Pizzeria Taormina - Carta

I have enjoyed the food and ambience at Taormina for over 12 years. I have never had a bad meal or experience in over 100 meals at the restaurant.

The service was not good on the day I went. I waited a long time for my food and the waitress did not speak good English or German. My food was not very good and the ice was not clean in the glass.

Went here a couple of weeks back with some coworkers. The staff were very accommodating and patient with us. The food came out quite quickly and oh boy was it delicious!!! Will definitely visit again! Ver carta

The food is good, but the service is horrible when they are busy. Once I wanted forever and asked about my food and finally got it. The second time I waited forever and just said forget it and left without eating.

Speise und Atmosphaere war ok aber das Essen hat ewig lange gedauert. Habe leider keine Zeit fuer stundenlanges Warten noch dazu wenn wir fast die einzigsten Gaeste sind. Die Bedienung war auch nicht italienisch. Nie wieder! Meinem Mann ist dasselbe passiert.

This quaint Italian restaurant is nestled in downtown Landstuhl, Germany. The food is fantastic and the prices are reasonable. Ambiance adds to the flavor. We ate off the Specials menu last night and were not disappointed! Only issue: parking! This restaurant gets busy and their lot is very small/ tight in the back. Come early and its no problem!! We had a fantastic time at this restaurant, the service was exceptional, the food was very good. So good that we went 3 times on one week. My favorite was the Lasagne but the Ravioli Alla Panna might be my new favorite. The Bruschetta is very very good. We really enjoyed the meal and the friendliness of the waitress. We had the same waitress each night and greeted us with a hug and kiss. Would definitely go again!

I will say the food is decent enough and under normal circumstances I would eat there again. Howevee, even when the place was almost completely empty, I was not eating until I was there for an hour, and I ordered everything at the same time and knew what I wanted by the first time asked. On top of that, he careful if you use cars that isn't based in EUR. They will convert the payment to your local currency which will of course screw you on the terrible exchange rate. Will not be eating here again.

This spot used to be my "go to" restaurant for great Italian food for dinner with friends or for family when they visited. Now, I'm sad to say that at best it is very good and at worse it's fair. When the kitchen is "on" the food is a good representation of quality Italian food. Pizza is usually a safe dish, as are the salads. There is plenty of room for large groups and there is a cheerful patio out back. I've lived in the area for going on 10 years and I still eat there hoping it will be a good night for the kitchen.
