Best night, food was amazing and the pub quiz was awesome, we came 3rd. Brilliant staff, service was fast and quite personal as they would remembered drinks and just generally lovely.

As a fan of pies, discovering this place was like music to my ears. The variety of pies is fantastic, and you can even choose your own type of mashed potatoes and gravy to go with it. I will definitely be returning soon. Ver carta

Popped in as a group to have a drink or 2 and was surprised to see the amount of board games on offer. Having a drink and playing games in a nice (but small) atmosphere was thoroughly enjoyable. Sadly we could not try the food...

Brilliant idea, fabulous execution. So many choices of pie, several choices of mash and various gravy options all for £9.99 superb. Fabulous service, good wine and beer and a nice feel to the place. Only here visiting otherwise would be back again.

The food and atmosphere at this pub were fantastic. There are a large selection of pies, served with a good choice of different mash and gravies. I had the vegan butternut squash pie with garlic mash and spicy gravy. Delicious! The other pies were too....

A tip off from a friend sent us to the Plough to sample the 'Pie Society ' fare. ...wowser!! What a fantastic recommendation!....a great menu of a simple meal, no fancy names or strange accompaniments to be seen! Real home made pies on the plate, ...not...

Excellent traditional pub. Great range of beers. Excellent food with a pie selection to die for. Most pub pies can be stodgy or lacking in nail ingredients. Not here. Deep crispy pastry with ample fillings. The manager and staff are very welcoming with nothing too... Ver carta
