This restaurant is excellent. I had a beautifully cooked piece of Sole during dinner. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere was pleasant. The price per person is around £50–60. I highly recommend trying the Scotch Egg and the Cornish Sole.

My friend and I were staying in Bude for jazz week. We loved Potters so much, in every way, we ate there two evenings. Vegetarian options: Fish were the main options but I was quite happy with the haddock. I asked them to serve without the batter and they were very accommodating, explaining it may not look so attractive. I must say it was delicious!As were the butter vegetables. Potters has changed format since we last went, choosing to focus on fresh fish and chips rather than a more fine dining experience. We were a bit disappointed initially as we had such a great experience last time but we needn’t have worried. The food was still excellent and the service remains great. Potters is a very friendly, local restaurant and deserves to succeed. The whitebait is probably the best I’ve ever had. We’ll definitely return. Great value too.

We went to this restaurant as a group of 4 to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday. The starters were nice but small for the price. I ordered Haddock, which was okay, but the chips were greasy and tasted like they had been refried. My husband and brother-in-law both ordered cod, but my brother-in-law had an issue with his dish. He said the fish had not been cleaned properly and it made him feel sick, so we stopped eating our meals. The staff never asked if everything was alright, and when we pointed out the problems, they did not seem concerned.
