"A very friendly local eatery. Good service and excellent Margaritas! Visited twice and I'd say the risotto is as good as I've had anywhere the mushroom risotto was deeply flavoured. Had steak for my main both times (filet and ribeye : good quality meat, well seasoned and accurately cooked, served with well executed standard sides. The by the glass Montepulciano d'Abruzzo was really good at the price and went well with our steaks. My only caveats are that the house (by the glass Pinot Grigio isn't up to much, wet with little discernable flavour, and our Tiramisu was pleasant, well presented but a bit lacklustre (more booze needed here! Overall, well worth a visit and I'll go back when I'm in Lanark again."

prefer their carluke restaurant for atmosphere, but eating is equally good in lanark. recommend to all prego restaurants. prego has to.

eating came hot and very fast food was a high standard the manager was however extremely rude for customers and other workers who make the atmosphere restless and unwilling.

david kelly. has to say problem with adaptability, how wanted to buy £100 gift vouchers, but wanted them for carluke, but said, had to go there to buy them so decided that as the people wanted we also liked them gas house on the hole went there and got them. sorry prego, but sooo bad

liz daisley. I was 4 years ago in the field and remembered the restaurant well. when I was in lanark two weeks ago, I decided to have an early dinner. I enjoyed the food presentation very, the staff was very helpful and friendly. So I have been back a few times since then and booked for a meal tomorrow saturday. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
