My favourite spot for a quick and healthy lunch and coffee.

I'm a regular in this shop, the barista's are always friendly and helpful.

Lovely staff but website says open til 5pm but they actually close at 4pm. They clearly don’t want anyone who actually wants a coffee after work to go there. Even closing at 5pm is early. Ver carta

If your lucky and get the guy to make your drink then it's fine. If you get anyone else it's awful... see photo of a cappuccino made by a lady with red hair. Need to train all their staff.

Good food drinks. Vibe is a downer I gave 5* five years ago. Maintenance of this cafe is SHOCKING!!! Two broken toilets (one unsigned), dangerous floor by till, tiles missing and broken trims. Very disappointing...

Poor coffee.. Poor manager. Close early. All good staff have left. Sometimes nobody on the tills. Cancelled my subscription based on this. Costa and Cafe Nero are doing more to attract customers. Pret in Newbury has fallen on its laurels. Needs to buck its game up. Ver carta

First time to this branch. I love Pret and this is a nice one. There was lots of porridge left at 10am. The porridge is always totally delicious with honey. Soooo good. My friend had a veggie egg white omelette and really liked it. We take our own cups and filter coffee is just 49p. Brilliant! Recommended

Come here almost every day, staff are always friendly without fail, service is quick and efficient, coffee always great. Will continue to come here and hope that it stays as good as it is. Only downside is that it closes early so I can never go get my oat vanilla latte after work but other than that it’s great.

Lovely staff, always greet me with a warm smile. Have the Pret subscription and visit most days. Always take my own reusable cup and staff always remember just how I enjoy my coffee! Large, spacious shop with plenty of seating. The building itself is in need of a little TLC- leaks are apparent when there is heavy rain and toilets are often out of use. It’s a great shame that dogs will no longer be able to sit in from 1st April 2023. Ver carta
