"During a life of business meetings in the city, I had come to like visiting Pret. I have to admit to hating the coffee, as nit a single Pret serves even a half decent cup of coffee, but the sandwiches on the whole were reasonable. I had lived in Newbury for 20 years and just as I was leaving a Pret opened. On a visit to Newbury earlier this year I was in need of some lunch and stopped off to see what was available and what if anything was new. However, on this occasion (accepting that it might be better at other times) I found this to be a poor example of a brand I had used often. It's huge and in comparison to its size it offered little produce. It also appeared to be understaffed as it was not busy, but what tables it had were full of litter. So little choice (empty shelves) and littered tables. It was 1pm and either the store is so popular it can't keep up with demand or it genuinely doesn't have enough staff. It's a shame as I wouldn't go back and would prefer to go without."

I like to eat in Pret a Manger, but is quite difficult to find food or a person with lactose intolerance, would be really nice to have more choices.

Went here for lunch with our family on Boxing day and the food was very good and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Great coffee and sandwiches.

We had the duck wrap and a coffee. The coffee was nice and hot and the duck warp was lovely and fresh with lots of duck and the right amount of salad in it. Ver carta

One of the best fast food sandwich takeouts..I love there rage of sandwiches. always freshly made...with lots variety. lots of healthy options. great drinks too...

Great food as you would expect from Pret. But you pay extra to sit inside which seems ridiculous. I guess the argument is that you pay face value if you 'take away '.

The food here is up to the usual Pret standards, so there are no issues here. Just don't lift the toilet seats. I can only assume that they've employed Mr Magoo as the cleaner as the filth under the seat and around the hinges is disgusting. Ver carta

The sidewalk in front of the restaurant is very narrow, often only allowing for one person to pass when a car is parked in front. If Pret a Manger didn't have their terrace and there wasn't a car blocking the way, there would be enough space for 6-7 people to walk comfortably. Thank you.

This is by far one of the best PAMs we 've visited. The usual Pret fresh, quality offerings, but the whole 'fast food ' experience is improved by their being plenty of quality seating, space and staff.The team are friendly and efficient, and it 's all housed in what is one of the largest and best laid out Pret locations we 've been to.It 's a standard PAM, but just more relaxing than most of it 's type.
